I have really enjoyed your trip report. So that's what Angie and I missed out on prior to our arrival there last month....hmmm. Now I must read Queen's report. These reports are really making me want to return to Negril very soon. In fact I'm making my plans to return in a couple weeks. I can't wait to get back there.

Angie, no apologies necessary. Sala was not upset, just concerned that everyone would think that we were standing you up (as you mentioned).

His phone service is with Cable and Wireless, and connection from Negril to Sav is often weak. I know he was with Sandrine for a good portion of the day while she was shopping, by evening, he was with me, and the phone should have been good from 7:00pm on....

I don't know what happened, sorry for the confusion, but I guess everything turned out sort of all right in the end. I'm glad I got to meet you, even if only for a little bit. Next time, maybe for a longer one.

Everyone scroll back up and see the two pictures I added to today's report, these are two of my favorites from the trip.
I also left out this important incident. On the way to Ocho Rios from Mobay I asked Tommy to take me by Silver Sands to see my adopted mother Miss Inez. She had been my cook last year and I fell in love with her. I talked my way through security (they remembered me), and went to give her a CD of religious songs my daughter had downloaded with Miss Inez's picture on the cover of the CD.

MY Miss Inez
I had added a halo over her head and little wings coming out of her back and I titled it "Songs for an Angel", because she is.
When we arrived at he house a young man came out and met us in the driveway with a quizzical look on his face. I got out and extended my hand and told him I was there to see Miss Inez. He looked confused and said politely "I'm sorry, but I don't know any Miss Inez."
I asked him if he was staying in this house and he said yes. I asked him if he had a cook and a housekeeper, and he said yes. I said, well, your cook is Miss Inez. He said "Oh them, yes, they're in there."
Right about that time Miss Inez and Miss Brenda came out the house. I enveloped her in my arms and would not let go. The fury I felt at this young man for living in "my" home and not even knowing my mother's name momentarily had to wait while I spent this precious moment with her. He stood by silent and unimpressed and I swear I wanted to slap him.
When Toshia, Felecia, and I stayed there last year Miss Inez and Miss Brenda kept talking about how sweet we were. They were so happy that we asked if they were married, had kids, grandkids, what are their names, what church do you belong to and so on and so on. They said that they have guest who stay there a week, two weeks, and month and never talk to them except to request services.
I guess this was one of those weeks, because this privilaged little bastard had not even bothered to learn their names.
The Queen cussed almost all the way to OchoRios about it. I was pretty pissed in the front seat, but I was busy trying to figure out how I could get my hands on enough money so she could retire and not have to work for people like that. It broke my heart to leave her. I gave her a nice sum of money and left after another hug. Next trip will try to do a little more.

Tuesday in Ochii
I awake at the crack of dawn to a gentle rain. I decide that I can't run,so I turn over. The rain stops and my conscious bothers me so I get up. I do my usual run from Skycastles to Ciboney accompanied by Bob Marley on the headphones. One guy yells "hey mon, you're bok." I do see my madman (I swear he is wearing the same tattered rags from November and last July." All is right with my world now. Except when I run past LittlePub I am devastated at the destruction.

I end at Fisherman's beach with my Cerasse tea.

This is Andrew. He cooks breafast at Fisherman's beach. He also makes MY tea n the morning.
Back up to the room and I go out by the pool for breakfast. Curry prepares anything you want, all you can ea everymorning for $5.00 US.

So at this point, don't hate me because two cute guys take care of me every morning. Around 9:30 or so honey arrives. We are glad to see each other and he inspects my river wounds to see how well they are healing. He decides that my backside is coming along nicely and then promptly flips me on it. Welcome to Ochii!!!!!!!!!
By lunch time we are hungry (nice transition huh) and I want to go back to Fisherman's Beach for some real food.
When we get thereI see a lady cooking over an open fire and turning out stuff better than any fancy restaurant.

This is my honey's plate. Steamed Doctor fish, rice and peas and vegetables.
There are people from all walks of life here, but I can also see that many professional people make the trek here for lunch.
My honey's friend shows up and he asked me to put this picture out there because he wants to get chosen. Any takers?

He can best be described as a hardworking (owns his own van, does tours)little horny guy.
Well, I have conch chowder, and then we go back home.
There was a young lady there who was VERY pregnant. She had on a lovely two piece white linen maternity outfit. A man asked her to stand up and unbutton her top and show him her stomach. After a little coaxing she did it. He said in the most serious, deep,respectful, awe-filled tone,
"oh a sexy belly dat". Then he and his friend went on the comment about the shape of it and the nice skin color etc. It was clear that this was turning them on. Damn I got pregnant in the wrong country.
