See I tried to tell everyone that I am low-key and reserve. I was the quietest one of the group besides AngieB. I wouldn't say I was Sister Mary Rosalyn as I portrayed before.

Marilyn where are you? Or do I need to request that AngieB give me more information regarding that "magical cream".

What type of magic did it do? Where do you apply it? On whom do you apply it? My curosity is up and waiting on more information.

Let's see what else did AngieB mention a yelping match? And what about the night of the slushies?
If memory serves me correctly I believe there were a couple other incidents mentioned.

Come on now don't leave us in the dark... At least give us the highlights. Whose table will be the first one I clear off for table table top dancing on the next GF trip? Your's Marilyn or AngieB's. Come ladies do tell... do tell...

Thursday- Day9
I wake up with one thing on my mind this morning. I am going to get THE picture, the one that has been etched in my brain for 3 years. This certain bathing young man, who's name I will not mention and who's picture I PROMISED not to publish, even if I could, it would be considered X-rated. I consider it art.
I figure out a way to strap my digital camera on the belt of my Cd. holder. I put in this thumping riddem mix CD and off I go. As ususal he passes me on his bike on the way to his bathing spot. He flashes me that smile as wide as the Nile. For a second our eyes meet. He sees that I have found a way to jog and bring my camera and he laughs. We both know that we have a date, pre-arranged to take this picture.
He goes to the waterfall, and when I pass by he tells me I can take it on my way back. I run all the way to Dunn's River and then fly back.
He is there waiting for me, but obviously not as excited as he was the day before. Darn it.
I try to make small talk and pull off two shots. He asks me to come down and join him and I tell him that I have a bad knee and can't make it down the steep embankment. Truth is, I'm just chicken.

Later on he sees me and asks me if I am afraid of him. I tell him that any woman in her right mind would be. He laughs. I then tell him that that thing should have required it's own seperate birth certificate. He FALLS OUT laughing.

After I have breakfast at Fisherman's Beach my honey calls. He wants to know if I need anything and I tell him I am out of Red Stripe. He arrives and brings in two six packs for me, then he says he has to go turn the engine off on the car. I think that it odd, but don't say anything. He comes back in the door in a rush and says "I have always wanted to do this for you and hands me red roses in a beautiful wrapping with a card that says "To show you how much I love you."


I am SPEECHLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have had this discussion for three years now, about how american women like to be courted and get flowers and stuff like that. I guess flowers seem silly in a country that is blanketed with them, and that that the cost of a bouquet could feed a family for a week. The significance of this is not lost one me.
I bolt out of the door to bang on Angie's door to show them to her. She has been having the same debate with her honey.
That is why I called a florist from the US and had flowers waiting on me and Angie upon arrival. She didn't read the card well and somehow thought the management at Skycastles sent them. She called downstairs and thanked the manager, and she graciously said "you're most welcome" as though she had sent them.

Our housekeeper CHerry with the flowers I had sent. Angie had one just like this.

I then told Angie's honey that he had his work cut out for him topping my baby. I was so excited. If I never get flowers again these will mean the most to me ever.

After honey left I had a luncheon engagement. Johnny has insisted on cooking for me, so I am off to the penthouse. Angie and her honey had some errands to run.

Johnny had packed it to go because I was late.

When I arrive the cousin is there asking for Angie. You know the cousin who owns the video store who we went to pick up the XXX film for.
I inform him that Angie is spoken for and he is disappointed. Another family friend is also there,so I have a nice lunch in the penthouse with three guys. Johnny has to go to Discovery Bay, so I rush through lunch and go out by the pool.

Iam in the water resting when I am tapped on the shoulder. I turn around and look right into the eyes of Franco Nero, a friend I met on my first trip to Jamaica. He is a little street hustler who I keep at arms length, but still as a friend.


Franco once gave me a nice compliment, and when I thanked him he said "tank ya for tanking me." I have kept that as a private joke of mine for years.

Later on that night we invite Barbara over to Skycastles for dinner by the pool. Curry is cooking and we want some good food tonight BECAUSE THE FOOD AT ALMOND TREE IS THE PITS !!!!
That is the second time I have been there and it was lously. I am taking their expensive butts off my list. Drinks there OK food. no more.

We take Barbara home and all of us stay home that evening and get a early night's sleep for a change.

Friday-Angie's Second Last Day
Well try as you may, they have to come again and I know that mine is not far off,so I can't be smug. ANgie leaves tomorrow, and she and her honey will have to go through this pain for a second time.
They are still sleep and I am up and at em. My model and I decide that we do not like the pictures because I didn't get close enough, so he invites me back this morning for another shoot. It's a hard job(pardon the pun), but someone has to do it.
This morning I decide to walk. He is about to pass me on the bike when all of a sudden these four guys appear who inform me that they will walk with me. Now normally I don't mind having four guys walking with me, but my model frowns when he sees the parade following behind me, and I know that unless I ditch them I ain't getting that picture.

Luckily I pull out the good old digital and take these shots. It distracts them long enough for me to make my get-a-way.

He's there, and a little happier to see me today, but it's still not the shot I wanted. Oh well. This time I climb down and get a close up. I am just NOT going to let this guy think I am scared of him. Ok I got a great shot this time. His caramel body is accented with a right red towel against a back drop of waterfalls and lush green plants. He has dread locks and a bright smile. I tell him that he could be rich in America with his um ah um "talent?"
He laughs. After his bath I walk along while he bikes back home and we talk. He shows me a back way into Fisherman's Beach from the main road. He tells me that his lady(who already had 3 kids), was killed in a car accident while carrying his child. He does ask me if I am attracted to him (wonder where he got that idea). I have to explain to him that just admiring a thing of beauty does not always mean that you want to possess it. He seems to understand, we will keep it on the friendship side.

Later on that day we have promised to dine at the new estbalishment of a friend. This is YBob's adopted son who seems to feel that Bob is the goose that laid the golden egg. He built this eatery right in his front yard and has gone into business. He is one of the many loyal Ciboney employees who lost his job when Butchy boy took over. Angie and her honey and mine went to have a nice evening. Here are the pics from the restaurant and the runnings outside.

Later on that night I can't get anyone to go out to Jus 'Cheers with me but Barbara. By accident we find a good reliable cab driver and off we go. Tonight I dance. I dance and I dance and I dance becaue I know that my days in my Jamaica are numbered.


I find a guy to dance with who is just as good a dancer as my Lawrence from Ciboney if you can believe it. We go ALLL the way down, and suddenly I am 16.
My other partner that night is a chocolate thug, rude bwoy who just gave me the shivers because his dangerous demeanor was just a turn on. The one he was with who latched on the Barbara was even more thugish. Now as rough as these two guys looked, they were consumate gentlemen. All night I didn't even have to ask. When he saw me take that last swallow of Red stripe he would disappear to the bar and come back with another one. This was the part that really touched me though....He would bring the bottle all the way to me, get my attention and make me watch him open it with a bottle opener. I think he did this so that I would know he had not slipped anything in my drink.
He danced with me Jamaican style all night which you know is just groin to groin grinding, and let's say I got very familiar with him and his workings. When it got too hot for me I would take a break. Barbara in the meantime was just whopping up on that poor little boy who decided to take her one. She told me later however that she really wanted that one I was with. He was just so deliciously dangerous.
At the appointed hour our driver arrived and off we went. Miss Babs then wants to go to Amnesia, Lord save me, so we did. Nothing happening there, but it was a cool place to wind down the night before bed.
If anyone thinks you can hang with Barbara you are welcome to try.

Your morning groupies - the one in the first picture and the third picture - oh my! Gotta hang with you in Jamaica you seem (duh) to attract all the expectional eye-candy. Don't worry I'll bring a hanky along to wipe all my slobbers (from my mouth watering) from my chin.
