Marilyn, the ending was absoutely beautiful. Just thinking about saying goodby brings tears to my eyes all over again. I hate to ask you to re-write that magnificent ending, but you must...you hear me, you must go back and write about our visit to Seamens bar after we left Raymond's. It was one of the delights of the trip and one that I am sure will have Magic and others laughing at yet another one of our adventures. We sure do make a pair, both you and me. It's a wonder that our honeys put up with us. We do get into more stuff...."We not easy".

So a good time was had by all at Raymond's SOUL FOOD INN. Great drinks, great food, interesting runnings in the yard, the joy of seeing my friend finding himself. Raymond and I discussed all kinds of decorating and expansion ideas. He seems to have a good clientele, and I think this thing just might work.
My honey has to go to work now, so he turns me over to Angie and her honey for the return to Ochii.
We are just about to turn up Skycastles road when I tell Ahoney to go straight. I want to go for a drink at this little bar right at the mouth of Fisherman's beach.
(Background info. I have to warn Ahoney that this bar is a notrorious prostitute hangout. During the course of this trip Angie and I have found out that our men are snooty. Yep, little Jamaican snobs. Seperately, we were lectured about some of the company we choose to keep. In my case it was having invited some friends from Fisherman's beach to the Fire and Ice Dinner. Angie's lecture was different, but along the same lines. )
So I tell Ahoney ahead of time that we are going slumming and he will just have to be strong.
As we enter I immediatley see that I was right to warn him. There are two hookers to the left and one on the right. The two on the left are about the most lively and personable people you will ever want to meet. The other one is like the walking dead. She has been rode and rode hard. All the years of her young life have been wiped away and she looks like a crack addict.
The other two immediately begin talking to us. I am told by them both that they love my hair, but Red dress then tells me that her friend "likes my body and thinks I am pretty." Hey, have I just been propositioned? And what pray tell is it that I CAN DO WITH A HOOKER?
Well they compliment Angie too, about how young she looks, ok so they have excellent taste. Then they tell Ahoney that they could take him home and do some things. This is where Angie has to ask them if they see her standing there? They apologize because they didn't know they were a "couple". Somewhere along in here I am obliged to buy them drinks, but that's cool.
Behind a little wall a lady is cooking. If we had not just eaten......the smells are ambrosia!!!
I Whip out my camera and start to shoot. That is when Red Dress says "Take mi picture, but wait I got to get mi condoms where you can see dem."
When she stood up condoms spilled everywhere. She picked them up and arranged them like a fan and stuck them just so in her top so they would show in her picture. Ain't no shame in her game.
During this whole time Ahoney is about to DIE. Angie and I are having a ball, but the poor thing is sooooooooo uncomfortable that I make our excuses and we leave. On the way out the door, Red Dress slips me her phone number on a piece of paper. Lord help me.

Well as Angie said this was another one of our great adventures. And to my stuck up little honey, I will have to remind him that we saw HIS DADDY's Car parked outside this bar on more than one occasion. LOL

Girl, can you move your time back a week? GFT will be in Negril in July. I will be there by July 1 (honey's birthday), so we definitely hook up; but for a really good time, you've gotta experience Ms. Marilyn & Ms. AngieB! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I don't know how you guys can plan that far in advance. I gotta turn in my bid for vacation for 2003 on Monday and I'm putting it off. How am I supposed to know what days I want off 13 months from now?!!???!!?

Well, I think that just about concluded our trip report. I had hoped that Ms Red, Roz and StevenJ would have added their comments about the trip because everyone views it differently, but I guess everyone else has lives at home except me and Marilyn. I have spoken with everyone since our return and they had a ball and will be attending the July trip. I even ran into Erica last night while having dinner with my daughter. she had a ball and cant wait to go back. Until our next adventure in March, thanks for reading and commenting on our trip. Marilyn and I really enjoyed writing the report and sharing our little vacation with everyone. Great trip report. The little boy you have posted is named Rakeem. His dad is the Indian who cooks down by fisherman's beach. When I was there this past June I told him I was going to take him home with me and said NOOOOOO! He is very shy but isn't he just so beautiful? He could be a model. Can you give me exact dates for GFT in July because I AM GOING-the only thing is that I wanted to be there for Reggae Sunfest and I think that's the end of July.
