What a beautiful love story. Sometimes, us "experienced" type, forget what it felt like to melt and/or feel that mixed anxiety, therefore, we are filled with warnings. We NEED stories like this to remind us - my opinion only. Anyway, thanks for the reminder.

I am still planning to write a trip report. I have a lot of happy memories to share from this last trip, and if it helps others get through one more day at work until their next Jamaica getaway, then it's all worth it. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I just really wish I would have taken notes. It's a lot easier remembering 7 days than it is 14. Danielle, this was a superb and enlightening trip report. You have amazing perception - I'm just blown away by the different truths you've revealed in your account, just by recording the conversations of these men you encountered, and analyzing your own reactions to that. I make no judgment of your behaviour or actions in Jamaica, I'm just thankful that you felt comfortable enough to relate it here. Nuff respect for that.

It may have taken a while for me to finish it, but I'm glad I did.
It was actually nice to remember all the things that went on out there, and to write it out and read it for me was enlightening..it was like being there all over again.
I am feeling so many different emotions, even now when I re-read the post.
I will let everyone know if anything happens further between Pete and myself.

First,I would like to thank Jamaican.com for having us as guests to this forum! Truely this is your website and you are most gracious,to let us feast at your table!

Secondly, I am new to this website for the last couple of days I've been pondering over the fact,how did a conversation over a matter become like a debate team ?

"This subject has been beaten to death like a dead horse!" I have gone back in the Archives and read numerous reports and postings! I've even read The Diary of a Gigolo!This discussion and controversy has been going on for qute a while now! So why say someone is sitting around bored stirring up trouble?

I call this response very hypocritical! "Sitting behind their screens not wishing people the best!"Isn"t that being very judgemental? God is the only one to have the priveledge to do that! But I will say for the record"Any time I know some information that can possibly help someone,I"m not going to be sitting around hush hush as to not step on anybody"s toes! We are nt living in the 50"s or early 60"s!

If it just helps one woman to not to have to succumb and fall prey to these conniving smooth talking guys, by helping I know that my conscience is in check!

The only thing that I"m regretful of is, my comments shouldn"t have been personalized! Towards the end, it looked like a Dollybaby and Boopie debate! I do apologize for those actions!Nothing Else!

We've been Killed,Raped,Hung from Trees, Separated from loved ones,Brought here against our wills, Been thrown overboard pitched out to sea, Severely Beat,Spit on,Tarred and feathered even been Bamboozled! I give you much props for sharing your experience with everyone on Jamaicans.com .I have to say that I really enjoyed your story. You really made me feel like I was in Jamaica. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] I have not been around for a week or so and I missed the debate. I am sorta glad because I do not want to have mixed feelings against anyone. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] Everyone is entitled to there own opinion, but sometimes you have to bite your tongue and not speak. Can we all just get along. Danielle, a truly moving and brilliant report, I relly enjoyed it...

As for you and Pete, if he is paying your airfare etc, why nbt take the chance, yes he might have another dozen girlfriends, but don't you think paying the airfare would get a little expensive....You only have one life to live, why not enjoy it...just go with the flow and see what happens..
