My Nov/Dec trip will be my 11th to Jamaica.
I have allot of memories and some friendships.
Nothing like your connection to my adopted land. I think I started to late,should have gone in the 70's.

I have nothing but respect for your life my friend. Your family, your lovely wife and extended family.
You are building a future in Jamaica that is the envy of many. What a wonderful life you have.
MissS and I are having good times, when I'm there. I'm just a tourist and probably will never be able to do what you have done.

I used to play gigs at Denison Univ. Beautiful campus. You've probably heard of a Reggae Band called the Ark Band... I was one of the founding members along with Eustace and Terry Bobb back in the early eighties. I think the band is still together.

George,

I think we all wish we had discovered this place sooner than we did, regardless of when that might have been. I look at my friend who has the house on the other hill and I wish my house was already built. Other times I've been up in the country and say to myself, why didn't I purchase a couple acres up here.

So to those who want to have a more permanent connection to Jamaica, I would say buy anything anywhere you can at what you can afford, now. I think the vibe of being [anywhere] on the island ends up being more important than any perceived location.

I've also realized that there are things here in South Florida that I will never have in Jamaica. My hope is to have some of the best of both "worlds". I too will always be a tourist.

I seem to miss you by about a week on every one of your trips (I'll be back down Dec. 4th-14th). I still would like to show you something that we talked about awhile back.

The Ark is still playing they are actully one of the best USA based Reggae Band, I have seen them a few times in Indiana.
