My friend Don has helped me clear most of the bush and set the fence posts. In the foreground you can see some of the posts. The rest of the cleared brush is stacked around the cut stumps, then Don returns a few weeks later and burns the piles and stumps...

Scottie, thanks for sharing your story,family and pictures. You have a lovely family and the pictures really tell the whole story of you and your wife. It is great to see people who are doing exactly what they were meant to do and want to do. I am a sucker for a great romantic story.

Here are a couple looks at what we've cleared so far. These are looking across the whole of the property. (south to north)

I have so much work still to do, but sometimes I just come up here and sit. It is so quiet and even on the really hot days, there is always a breeze that sooner or later rolls over the top of the hill.

Well, I think that pretty much does it for the pics...

Scottie. You are not going to believe what happened last Sunday night when I was in JA. Just got home last night. I went to club twilight aka Keith's, place was packed, vibes was irie.We were leaving the club early in the mornig, walking towards my car, i heard foot steps behind me. I turned around and oh my God, I saw a gentleman and his face looked familiar. I had a flashback to the picture you posted of your brother-in-law. I said are you David, Scottie's relative,he said yes, my sister's husband. I told him this is a one in a million chance that I would meet him by pure luck, and it has been only a few days since you posted his picture,and asked me if I knew Beverly's family in Grange Hill. David is very sociable, and is more handsome in person. He was very excited to meet me and spoke wonderful thing about you and Beverly.

I Paticularly like the photos of your land.. and the prospect of clearing and building... my husband is a builder and has more than once suggested doing the same thing...

i am trying to figure out where your land might be.... looks like a lovely sight.. is your goal to live there part of the year at some point... cant be to winter.. since you are already down in the land of the sun.......

thanks for sharing..... (i was going to ask what happened to you in the bashment photos as well), since I was the one who corrected your information when you originally got it wrong.... I was supposed to be there and didnt make it either....maybe next time..

Picture yourself on the road to Sav just before the entrance to Negril Hills G.C. Before you vere to the left and head down the hill to the entrance of the G.C., there is a road to the right. Heskett Rd. The Gaurdian Security and their tower are located on the corner, as well as a little shop. Turning right onto Heskett Rd., you will travel maybe a quarter mile until you reach another road where you can only turn right. That road is Nonpareil Heights Rd. At the top of the hill you will see a small church. Along side the church you will see a driveway which dead ends into my property.
