Man what an entourage we are going to be. All the girlfriends, plus Smith744, Plus Rudemonk, plus Mr. Barbara, plus DD and Pooh.

Now Negril ought to get an eye full after that.

I also have no doubt that Chef DonJuan will try to be there next year.

MountainGal - The camera we used is a Kodak DX4330. This is my second Kodak. I love them. They are very easy to use and download pics onto the computer. This model even has video capabilities. Unfortunately, David and I were both on sensory overload in JA that we didn't take any video. The one drawback of the video is there is no light when in video mode so you can only take outdoor video.

Marilyn - David has one brother but he is married. As David said before they broke the mold when they made him!
Negril isn't going to know what hit it with the group that is gearing up to go in July 2005!

Angie B & Laurel - it is looking very good that our paths will be crossing in 2005.

GB - if you would like I can send the original of that pic to you. I know they get resized when put in a post.

WONDERFUL trip report, Dave. It was almost like being there. We stayed at CA last year and loved it. Thanks also for the picture of Ziggy's shop; we saw that and thought it was funny too.

Supposedly there's a public beach near CA that's much nicer than the CA beach; did you happen to find it? And where did you get the patties?

We are going to Sunset Beach for a couple of days over Labor Day; hubby's office is closing so that the people who actually WORK FOR A LIVING in New York City can get outta Dodge. Next year hopefully we can get back to CA for a week.

Thanks for a wonderful report...heartfelt, moving, funny. Just terrific.

DD, I absolutely loved this trip report. I felt what you felt up at Nine Mile..I cried too and seeing your pictures gave me goose bumps all over again.

We settled into our seats and prepared for takeoff....

As the plane roared down the runway, I stared out the window..watchin' Jamaica passing by at a high rate of speed.....

and then, Jamaica slowly sank away beneath us...

The last tear of this adventure rolled away...I turned to mi likkle Poohbear.....

" So when we come back I think we should..............."

Your emotional honesty is so refreshing. The wonderful thing I love about Jamaica is that you can just "be". You don't have to pretend to be anyone or anything that you are not. You can express your emotions as they come no matter what they are. It is truly an wonderful thing.
