Re: Red Salts Drench...stories from the North Coast
Some people scurried away...we sat, smiled and enjoyed the rain...it fell gently, and kept us cool.....and somewhere back in the hills, it nourished a farmer's plot....

Daymn - I soooo wish I was going to be there longer than just the weekend. I am dying for the beach and the sunsets ... the flakey patties - all of it.

Re: Red Salts Drench...stories from the North Coast
You might remember that this was "Jamaican Day" at CA.... although we racked our brains, we can't remember for the life of us what we had for dinner!!! ( I told ya we were dry this day )...we think there was jerk chicken and pork, some kind of fish (escovitch?), maybe breadfruit....I'm sure there were other things....
Because of the rain, the evening's entertainment was shifted indoors...which was fine with us....we sat outside at the bar listening to recorded reggae...and drinking!!
We got to talking with a couple from Scotland...we sat there for a good long while laughin' and jokin'....we closed down the terrace bar and hung out a little while longer...fortunately the disco was open, so the drinks were still flowing....
That may be the reason we can't remember thier names!! ..we were also joined by another David, the singer from the band..he and I discussed the music biz for awhile...
