well Seveen...it's like this...the only thing I missed about Negril was the comfort of a familiar place and Sala's familiar face and guidance. The transportation costs of this side of the island is an issue for me as well. A quieter, slower pace is more to my liking though.

And Askme...regards transportation and Reich Falls...we never made it. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] That in itself is reason enough to return.

On the road again....

The obligatory stop at the Blue Lagoon briefly. Next time, might like to pay someone to take us for a boat ride around the area here.



Ho hum.

On to Boston Bay...stopped for some jerk and I would agree with the general consensus that the food here is ok..nuttin to get too excited about, but then, I really wasn't all that hungry. Beautiful beach, we didn't stay long. Bully was itching to take us to a place down the road, so off we went. I was starting to feel rushed at this point, but I try to go with the flow. This is one of those places i will have to spend more time at next time too. Damn, you'd think 9 days would do it...not so.

So back in the car we go...off to Bully's hang out. We go past Long Bay, Manchioneal and the beatiful view from way up there...i so wanted him to stop the car...man things were getting frustrating from a pic taking point of view...but i roll on. We go past the entrance to Reich Falls, which Bully swears is closed. I doubt, but again, I ain't in control here. Nother place I insist on seeing in my lifetime...so...you know what that means....

Anyways...our ultimate destination was a place called Under the Rock in Hectors River. We spent a good couple hours there. I have to admit it had a nice vibe. They were setting up a big system for a bash that night. Pretty spot, it seemed in the middle of nowhere. If I had to guess, Bully was shagging some gal who worked there...call me a cynic. Not complaining, we had a nice time there.







Nice clean beach here...i totally appreciate it when i see it.

Loops these are lovely shots...makes you wish more people - jamaicans and non jamaicans - could see the variety of landscapes and natural treats Jamaica has to offer. What an inspiration!
