Great trip report Marilyn! Love the pics and commentary.
I understand the not wanting to eat thing at your T.giving dinner, in Ochi. Many times rasta.b will decline to eat at someone house, if they are not a close relative to me (daughter or sister). Its just a personal choice. And I hear you about the old folks in school yard. Honestly, when I see peeps like that its just so embarrasing...

It is Laurel's last day/night in Negril. My heart bleeds for her. Oh how I know this feeling. I meet her son and she introduces me to some of the people around the Bird.

Whistling Bird is a perfect place for couples. It is also a place where people move slowly and talk in hushed tones. If you sit still enough a tiny blue bird will dance all around you for entertainment. It is cooler in there than most spots on the beach and the vegitation, although Ivan took a toll, it is still very beautiful.

It has a Bohemian atmosphere and a feel that not hotel type setting can give you. I dccide this evening to take them up on the gourmet chef thing, but I want my meal at the beach bar. They set my table with linens and bring me four little shrimp in a saucer. I have heard of taste buds exploding, but never experienced it. This did it!!!

There was a small pasta salad offered with something in it that was brown and crunchy. I always meant to ask the chef what it was, but never for around to it. Once again zowwie bang pop go the taste buds.

Next is lobster bisque soup served up with a thick homemade yeast roll. Oh it was equisite.

I chose chicken strips for the main meal which were accompanied by a boiled potato and buttered yellow squash.

Needless to say, I enjoyed having my chef.

I had some drinks at the bar prepared by Miss Lilly, and that did it. I am out.

The phone rings late in the night.

Marilyn as usual I am hanging on to your words and pictures. Keep your head to the Sky and rise above.

The name of the villa was Loosends and it was in Boscobel. Sasha Davidson of Tiverton House secured it for us and not only did he do the booking he followed up before, during and after our stay, Much Love Sasha. It was a Beautiful and Magical setting for our week there and Angie's Crowning 50th. Can't wait to return in July after GFT.
