Thanks everyone for lending me your ears. I just didn't have the heart to edit and correct any grammer and spelling on this report, but I trust that you will understand.
I had a great trip in November 2004 to Jamaica. I feel conected now more deeply than ever. I watch Marilyn and all my female friends carry presents over to friends, trip and trip and I never felt compelled to do so and this troubled me. Now, I feel not only compelled but anxious and delighted to bring more and more. Maybe its because its children and not adults and they have no choice in the hands they have been delt. Who knows why my heart rested here with these daughters, but it did and I am a better women for it. Thanks Ochigal for finding my home for me. Jamaicans.com rocks!!!

I read every word you posted. Some I believe more than once. Again I say I wish I were there with you and AJ. I said I wasn't going to leave Jamaica with regrets...well not going with you to Windsor is top of list of about 3. I pray I am able to be in JA again to be....where you touched.
Why can the Butch Stewarts and Chris Blackwells build million dollar facilities and I cannot help just one daughter. Where is the justice in this…where is the fairness….

Boggles my mind how you could look at Negril, see all the serious cake that comes through that place, and yet where is the return to the community.
And it could spread from there...and the other tourist destinations, and it should spread...
Angie - You need to know in your heart that the impact that you, Ochigal, and all the others whom the Spirit has moved to follow the path to The Windsor Girls Home, must be huge! You may never really know how deeply you all have touched these Daughters lives - but at the end of the day - doing what you can to help shape these young lives has to help heal your souls.

I am so proud of you and Ochigal. Between all of us we spread around as much as we can. Between my two little boys and little girl at Fisherman's beach, and D's 9, we reach kids and adults, but this is another matter, these girls. Looks like another working computer would be a good thing. Did they have internet access??
Cosmetology, that's it huh. As a guidance counselor I find that really sad, limited horizons. I wonder how difficult the gov. would make it if you did offer to take one young soul and give her something better. Probably there woud be a very high price to pay.
For your work here you will be blessed. Let me know if you need something sent in March. I will have 4 suitcases at my disposal.
This was ... I really can't find the words I am looking for. I can say that I know my trip to Ochi will be on of preparation in order that I may bring to these little ladies as much stuff as my bags will carry, and it doesn't seem like I will be limited in my options (just limited in luggage space).
I just finished reading your report and wanted to tell you how lucky I am to have met you and now I have been blessed by you sharing your experience at Windsor. I was at the airport (surprising Marilyn and Napi and Lil Sis, hehehe) when you came with ALL that stuff and I kept thinking in my mind, customs must have had a field day with you!! Upon reading your report I have discovered that you did LOTS of homework (I lack in structure and research, hats off to you!!) and I see your big caring heart!! I hope to be able to spend more time with you when we are in JA again and would love to check out Windsor as well. Keep doing what you are doing sister!!

ALSO--NOTE TO ALL--Angie is SO beautiful in person, her smile lit up all of Sangster's, the hair was da BOMB, and now that I know that she is 10 years older than me and was wearing some fly shoes and rocking the cutest jeans over that nice slim figure, I am having my personal trainer work me TWICE as hard because I want to be Angie when I turn 50, fi tru!!

I dont know if they do in the lab...but Barbara Black has internet access in her office. I highly doubt the have it in the computer lab since you pay by the minute for internet use. It probably is not in the budget.
