hello everyone!1 My name is Ondi and I am from Tennessee(usa) and I am going to SNJ July23-31. Is anyone going the same week? I have so enjoyed this report. I like you seen the 3-dives on amazing race and I am starving for Lobster. this will be my first trip and I can't wait. I can't get my password to work so that I can post as a member and get replies. Any help appreciated!

Beach Bums
After eating and being that good kinda full, we mozy over back to the hotel. Before we get there this tall dark skinned man with long, long dreads approaches us. He asks us if we are interested in any cultural excursions. I tell him that we are going to Mayfield Falls tomorrow. He asks who our driver is. I tell him Soloman and he looks at me funny. I say Talk of the Town Tours and he still looks at me funny. He tries to convince me to switch up drivers and go with him. I tell him thanks but no thanks. He says-no problem and gives me his card. We walk across the street enter the hotel put on more sunblock grab up our stuff and head out to the beach.

The weather was perfect and the water was so warm. I had been told that you have to go really far out to get to the deep part of the water. Whoever said it wasn’t lying. I went really far out in the water and it wasn’t even up to my shoulder. I’ve been in the ocean in Jamaica before, but it always astounds me how clear the water is. It was wonderful feeling the tug and pull of the water. I again went into my meditative state. Stacy and Tonya were laid out on the beach soaking up some sun. I’m not sure how long I was out there. I, of course, could not have total peace and quiet as I reflected on my life, my dreams, my aspirations. Yes-as I was warned-some nice men came over and offered me free rides on their jet skis. But no ride is free-right. Nope sorry, don’t feel like being felt up. Luckily they all took no very well, told me to enjoy my stay in Jamaica and rode off. Later Tonya came into the far end of the water with me. We talked and were laughing and just enjoying the moment. We later went up closer to the shore. Then we got to meet Tonya’s husband. There was a glass bottom boat a couple of feet over from where we were standing in the water. This man was cracking us up. He kept telling Tonya what she should be doing. For real, half the time we didn’t know what he was saying. She just kept saying-OK and we would burst out laughing. After a while she went back and laid down on the beach chairs. I got closer to the shore and got on my knees and let the water rock me-back and forth, from side to side. I waded back out to the deep end. I could tell that the sun was getting deeper in the sky because of its reflection off the water. Stacy came into the water and again couldn’t believe how shallow the water was. We both were in our own zones. She later went in and I stayed in the water. After a while I came back to the shore and decided to dry off in the sun. I was in the water for at least 3 hours straight. Laying out in the sun was amazing. I love the sun. I believe it energizes me. I love to feel its warmth all over my body. After I’m all dry. I take some shots of the sun going down. We didn’t actually stay out that much longer because we needed to go inside and get ready for the Board party up at 3 Dives.
