I keep tryin to stay away from this forum,--am heartsick for JA and sometimes this just makes it worse [Frown] but come back time and again. Reports like yours ,Shug , are the reason why. [Smile] You pictures are beautiful, and your stories bring back sights and scents.

As I was snapping pictures, I hear Stacy call over that the food was there. I ran over to see my beautiful lobster dinner. All I can say is yum. The amount of lobster at first was intimidating, but of course, I was up to the challenge. As we are eating and talking I look over at the other table and notice a group of ladies. I think that Solomon is sitting with them. After peaking some more I realize that it is Solomon and that those must be the ladies from Mayfield Falls. As we are talking I hear a gasp from the next table. A woman at the table faints. Her friends jump up and are running around her trying to fan her back into consciousness. She comes to and then she faints again. One lady suggests that she must be overheated and maybe she needs to sit in the van under some AC. We start to speculate that maybe she had too much sun and not enough water. The lady comes to and whosh, she faints again. After she comes to her friends give her some water and she appears to be feeling better.

My Lobster-Laurel do you remember my post about looking for lobster.....I found it.



After we finish eating I call Tommy to get a ride back to the hotel. He tells me that his wife has called him and that he is on the way home. He apologizes profusely, but I tell him-no problem, we will just get a cab back down the cliffs. We pay up, thank the waitress and head to the street. I have my hand down trying to get a taxi. It seems that all the ones’ speeding by are full. We keep getting beeped at, but it’s from cabs going up the cliffs. One of men that works there says that he will get us a taxi. He comes over and does the same thing that I’m doing and a taxi stops....I just roll my eyes and say thanks. We get back to the hotel in a flash.

Risky Business

When we get back to the hotel I ask the ladies if they want to go to Risky Business Tonight. Tonya says no, but Stacy is game. We both take a nap and then get up and are ready to go.
Don’t we look cute!!



In our normal fashion, we decide to walk down the street to Risky. I knew it was across the street from Selina’s. As we are walking into the building I hear a car honking at us. I turn around and it’s Strongman. He comes in the parking lot and parks his car and walks with us. On the way in one of his friends sees us and we all walk into the club. The club has a nice vibe inside. It’s not really crowded. The DJ is playing some reggae tunes and we sit down and enjoy the breeze from the ocean and the conversation. Strongman buys drinks for the table. When he sits down he has me cracking up with the daily runnings. He asks me if I would like to go to Happy Mondays. Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go, but Stacy doesn’t want to go. Strongman tries to convince her that she should go and check out a real Jamaican party and not the party for the tourist. She offers to go back to the hotel so that I can go. Nope-that is not an option. We came together and we will leave together. Strongman tries to convince her further. I tell him that if he keeps it up-I won’t go. He then asks me about my Dread. My who? He tells me that I was seen walking down the street with a dread. What? I burst out laughing. Oh-so you have people following me? No man, no man….he says. He tells me that one of his boys saw me walking down the street with a dread and he was wondering who it was. I told him that Dread is a nice man like him, that although he is attracted to me, isn’t getting any. (I proceeded to stick my tongue out at him.) We burst out laughing and continued the conversation. All of a sudden I feel eyes on me and I look up and Dread is walking in my direction. OMG-I got so caught up in the conversation that I forgot that he was coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey folks. Have to say my eyes are blurred and tired but I have just gone thru the whole report and am in awe!!! Sugar Shug you are doing a fabulous job on your report. I am still waiting for my first trip. Will continue to follow the story. Sounds like so much fun. I want to follow your steps when I finally get to go.....
