i was just thinking about your window progress the other day ja jewel...when i looked at the calendar.

all in time....you'll have this place all together and you'll be entertaining guests...Can't wait to see what that open air porch is going to look like when you have your cushions done.

Speaking of Henry....he recently used bad judgement, in making a move to earn some extra $ while using my car to go to Mobay to do an errand for me....He decided to make some extra $ by picking up some peeps to give them a ride to Falmouth on market day....BIG MISTAKE!

The transport authorities were right there on him for running an illegal taxi and IMPOUNDED my car! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]...It took me 5 trips to Mobay and 2 trips to Falmouth (with no car) and about $600US to straighten out things enough to get my car back!!!....chat bout learnin sum lessons!

This was a HARD one for me because I'm far from being flush right now and really needed that money for survival here.

That is not even speaking about the last finishing touches on the top floor....getting very close to the $ limit now....gawd, soon it will all be over and everyting will be irie and I'll have customers who want to rent and $ will be coming in to put into the bottm floor and I gotta keep the faith an hol on....really want this vision to become a reality, but soooo many obstacles a cum inna mi way...jus a hang on still!

I've decided it's best for my frame of mind to do the sewing myself for all the cushion covers....I just am happier with the results AND they get done much quicker.

...have a day of housecleaning staring me in the face....so I must get a move on..... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Today I'm busily sewing on the cushion covers for my open-air porch seating arrangement...I'll have the covers finished by the time I get the sponge, no doubt!...another "soon come" item. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]

I've received my framed and glassed Kuba cloth artwork, that I had been hourding for years in the hopes that "someday" I could find the right home for them...have 2 more pieces that I would like to make pillows from. I may have to keep some of these beautiful pieces for "my" part of the house, since I'm moving my beautiful four poster bed to the top floor master bedroom for my guests.

The most "fun" part for me will be to put in all the furnishings and decorative items....so anxious to see how it all comes together!!...I guess you could best describe my style as "ethnic eclectic"....since I've got items from many exotic places to decorate with.

I'll keep peeps informed as I go along.
