Thanks so much, Kat...this has been a long time coming....when I return there next week, I'm hoping I can move in the furnishings & all those little ethnic decorating items I've purchased to make it something special...just got word that the air-conditioner can't go in yet because couldn't get the pvc piping needed yet, but hopefully, by the time I get back next week that problem will be solved. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70384-praying.gif[/img]....(didn't want to use metal because of the sea air, too much corrosion!)

I'm so anxious to make this a place that people really love and want to come back to! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

When I reach I will put my head together with my techie neighbor down the lane to try to get a website set up, but as soon as we get photos taken of the finished product, I'll re-attempt to post them here.

Would love to have you as a visitor or a guest...sometimes it's nice to just kick back and relax a Yaad and get away from all the hussle and hassle of the main tourist destinations!....you can definately do that at my place, plus it's great for kids AND I've got two adorable pups who would LOVE someone to play with... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Well, mi dehya, since June 6th...got the air-conditioning set up on the top floor and have been working on getting the whole water system connected with the tanks, so when the water goes out, it will automatically be piped into the addition...bway, nuttin nah easy a Yaad...ting tek neff time fi jus do sintin simple.

I've been trying to get at least one of my sewing projects done every day...got the two cushions for the back porch seating arrangement finished and the cushion cover for on the bedroom chest...am now working on "making" a round bolster for an arm/head cushion for the back porch out of a round packing tube and several layers of 1" foam...then I need to make some pillows to lean up against the back wall to complete the two couches. I also need to find a 3'x3' woven grass rug to put on the corner concrete table and already have the glass for on toop of it...want to add a collection of potted plants in the table corner to add some greenery....also would love to put a hanging chair of some kind up there but the $ running thin! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

The furniture that I have is now moved in and "my" four poster bed looks beautiful in the front bedroom!...need to get the closet organizer in Mobay and hang a few more mirrors, pictures, etc.

I'm looking for someone to put together a t.v./stereo shelf out of bamboo for me for the livingroom...also still need to buy a stove, but things ARE coming together, just at a slow pace.

My neighbor, the computer techie, who is a returnong resident from the U.K., may have a 2 month rental for me for some N.Y. peeps who are looking at property here in the area [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70384-praying.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70384-praying.gif[/img]...really need some $ to come rolling in soon, so I'm hoping that will work out.

My son is finally here with me til the end of Aug, so it does my mind & heart good to have him with me...much less worries and U.S. expenses, although he does have a "hollow" leg for food on that 6' 4" frame of his.

...need to get to work on ironing the curtains and finishing the bolster....will keep all updated as things happen....thanks for taking an interest...and YES, I'll get the photo thing figured out one of these days!.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

JaJewel...sounds like you are keeping yourself busy! I know you must just fall into bed at night & sleep like a baby.

It's all coming together nicely. Can't wait to see your pictures after you finish the upstairs. I know that you'll be glad to get it all done & get some renters in there.
