I've been concentrating more on marketing my jewelry for survival lately.....Heaven 67, in Mobay, recently purchased almost everything I had made....plus, made a trip to Negril last weekend and met up with the buyer at Tensing pen, who wants me to come back with more product before I leave in August and promised me an order....They are building a new, much larger gift shop, so will have plenty of space.

The back porch is pretty much finished, except for one more pillow...I added several plants out there and love the feel of it!....have 2 more wicker chairs to pick up to complete the dining arrangement...am waiting for the tv/stereo cabinet to be finished and have to do some alterations on the curtains for me to be happy with them...otherwise, everything is pretty much good to go!! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/bannana_purple.gif[/img]

I am supposed to hear today if I have a NY couple coming to rent for 3MONTHS!....really could use the $, so I hope it works out!

It always seems that there's too much to do and not enough time to do it!....soon come with pics when everything is cris!....Thanks for staying interested! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Thought I'd better get back to all with a little update before my post goes into oblivion....

I actually have FINALLY taken some nice, nice pics of the interior of the finished apt. upstairs and have managed to transfer them to my pc, but again, the next step of getting them onto the picturetrail site always seems to give me problems....but I WILL soon try.

Had a nice visit with Suzrand and hubby, who came to stay for 2 nights, recently. I'm sure she'll give a rundown when she posts her trip report....she hasn't left the island yet, so I may see her again, before she leaves.

My proposed 3 month rental has turned into one month (Aug.) and I still haven't seen the dep.. yet, so I'm starting to get a bit leary of what a gwan....must hear from the man soon to keep holding it for him!

I'm deep into the beading thing right now as I have to make the $ to run household from that income alone right now.

I did get a new account in Mobay and another in Negril, but still need more to make everything run smoothly on the financial front.

My son has acclimated well to his sojourn here and has accumulated a few new girlfriends as well as a good buddy or two...he loves the food and makes a daily practice of an afternoon of swimming....I'm enjoying being close to him again.... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Happy your son has acclimated well - nuff nice to be close to and with him .... shoot the breeze - I hope for the day that mine will "come back to me" regarding JaJa .... maybe once we get an attached bathroom ??? who knows [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70402-thinking.gif[/img] I try to 'channel' my relationship with Beloved into his soul ~ so far he is resisting [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Are you a 'doable' day trip drive from Negril??
