Keep in mind that I mostly took pictures during our short breaks. In the meantime there are even better views passing by, but you're just too tired to bother with the camera. These images only reflect a small part of the mountain paradise.

man i love these.. gives a great feeling of what it would be like.... wish i would get the will for that climb...

only once in my life i climbed a steep mountain.. took 4 hours up.. and i remember my legs shaking with exhaustion.... esp on the way down.. like they would give..... going down is also very rough...

but man its so beautiful up there.. nothing like it.....

OMG- these pictures are really a slice of heaven. Magic just like your name. Thank you for sharing the journey. Sigh..I hope I will be in good enough shape sometime to try this trek. Ochi is already training so I better catch up.

Hey Magic.

Really nice man!!!!

It struck a cord with me 'cause my dad would take visitors up to the peak way back when he was in his late teens/early twenties (approx. 50 years ago). He has climbed it numerous times. I have to do it just once to follow his footsteps. I remember seeing a picture of him guidng people up wearing his back pack and carrying his walking stick. I am really wanting to find that pic now.

Magic if you can remember I would love any info on who to contact to do this climb. Any helpful advice etc... . would be really helpful to me.

Just sitting here thinking to myself "I'm not getting any younger" and since I will be heading to JA in the spring, it would seem like the logical time for me to make my trek up to the peak.
