Compare us with yesteryear and post colonial Jamaica, compare us with Boston`s school system and standards, we just are not up to scratch for the advanced world beyond the boundaries of our insulated island. </div></div>
at one time mi would laugh an seh ah joke yuh ah mek ..
there is no reason for our educational system graduate students who lack basic reading, riteting and rithmetic skills ..
without the basics .. yuh can train dem .. yes
but at greater cost and effort ..
so some might might shy away ..
expecting the available workforce to at least have basic fundamentals ..
