The tolerance for pork eaters has evened out in time as is evidenced nowadays where one can now eat or order pork out loud without feeling cute about doing so.
Like pork, homosexuality at some stage in time will lose its detestment. People like blugiant and those who have problems with sexuality will realize how stupid they were worrying to death about what others chose to do for their lifestyle.

So, opposing violence against homosexuals automatically makes one a homosexual. Well, that level of reasoning is expected from you. I honestly don't think you know any better.

But more importantly, what kind of morality leads one to commit or support (even tacitly) violence against other human beings? Perhaps the twisted kind: the one responsible for the inquisition, the Salem witch burnings, slavery, genocide, and other crimes against humanity.

Your support of this kind of violence says a lot of about how secure you are in your sexuality.

Here's a moral standard to uphold: courage.

It sounds to me like they think that homosexuals want to pass laws making homosexuality MANDATORY.
That should get a few sphincters clenched.

Seriously, what difference does it make what people do in their private lives?
That part of people's lives are not part of normal everyday conversation between neighbours and acquaintances anyway. We do not judge our heterosexual neighbors by what takes place in their bedrooms do we? So why judge homosexuals by what they do in their bedrooms?
We do not get exorcised about heterosexuals having anal intercourse nor about heterosexuals practising fellatio or cunnilingus and watch pornographic films wherin such things are drooled over yet these same acts when taking place between people of the same sex has homophobes' undies in a knot. (Except of course , when men watch pornographic films wherein two women are having sex, then it's okay)

I think it correct that these homophobes are either worried about their masculinity or in many cases in the closet, with secret and feared homosexual tendencies.
The saddest part is that in many cases they do not even realize it, do not understand where their blind hatred comes from.

Yes, that's been my observation.

Most gay men I know like women a lot, and respect them. They tend to place more value on "feminine" traits like seeing both sides of an issue, empathy, gentleness, etc.
