Just got the following error message on my BRAND NEW laptop and I cant seem to fix it

<span style="font-weight: bold">A disk read error has occurred
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del</span>

Problem is when I do the ctrl alt del it doesnt boot up and I get the same message over and over again.

I tried to restore my default settings, looked in BIOS, and cant figure out what is wrong with my laptop

It froze just before this. I re-booted and then got the above message.

HelP!

Trust me, I would have purchased an Apple along time ago if my accounting programs could run on Mac.

I have no loyalty to Windows but I need be able to do my work on a OS platform and so far that is Windows only

mi nu know what none ah daht mean, but is new ahn is a mac. mi almost faint weh mi look up di price, but it wont have none ah di issues that my PC had... mi cyan wait.

Yes, it happens as soon as I boot up. So I interrupt it and go into BIOS and see what the Boot order is. It looked out of sequence but I am not sure if what I changed it to is right cause I am still getting the same error message.

I am still running Windows XP Professional on my laptop and normally dont have boot up issues with it. Just instability while it is running.

yuh si how yuh have mod an admin a mess up yuh post?

mi a guh senn yuh supm dat wi fix xp, I was having probs an dis ting combofix can fix just about any error. soun like virus ting to me.
