I'm on pins and needles playing bank games. Maybe they will take my counter offer on the down payment and I can have my Audi and keep the intrepid too.

I am NOT getting any work done today! I'm hatching the phones. I want to do this tomorrow before the end of business.

Insurance on the Chrysler is 170.00 more a year!

This one comes pretty close to pins and needles!

The Audi has had one major fix. It was a 1,200 one that fixed the air lift thingie, but it was a one time thing. Both cars have a courtesy carfax of course. They both check out.

Ok, I think I prolly made an offer to sell my Intrepid that nobody can refuse. Ben is not home from work yet to see if he is interested in the Intrepid, so the message will be a while. My credit union is closed for the day.

I'm just taking a break from shoveling/er I mean cleaning out the Intrepid, just in case this all takes place after work tomorrow!

I will be glad not to have a dark color car to make look clean while living on a red clay dirt road! I washed Intredpid on Monday morning and it looked great driving through town. It looks like it has never been washed right now!

The Audi would be fun. However,these reviews are scaring me and it is looking like my best choice would be the luxury Chrysler Sebring.

I do know that the lake Audi has had it's share of visits to the repair shop. Dammit, a funner car I can't remember, unless I go back to the days of the new big muscle car Trans Am's. Now that was FUN!

Anyway, it is looking like nice safe Chrysler Sebring with plush leather seats, here I come!

Nan, I gotta say personally I'm leary of both.

The Audi is beautiful, as is the Chrysler. BUT!! newer Chryslers, from what I know, have more problems that are only fixable by a Chrysler dealer. $$$

The Audi, more expensive to begin with, would of course have more expensive repairs. $$$



Therefore I cannot cast a vote in good faith.

Did they have any Hondas? Toyota? Nissan?

US made? I am a GM fan myself. Ford comes in 2nd and from what I understand are now comparable in Quality & reliability to Toyota.

Oh my. I'm waiting on my mechanic to open so I can pick his brain. I did look at Subaru which was my first choice, but the $$ is even more than the Audi! I toyed with Rav4 but after rolling my similarly build Mitsubishi I wish to steer clear of high profile vehicles.

I bet the repairs on an Audi would be more expensive. You can get some really great deals on new cars now like no $$ down or very low interest rates....do you like Toyota's? They seem to be tough horse cars... Shop around and don't like any one too much.

I will cruise the Toyota lot this morning but the last time there wasn't really anything I wanted. Most of the sedans are so low to the ground and hard for me to get in and out of with my two fake hips. I don't want new. The loose valu the second they leave the lot, been there done that, got the tshirt.

Lots of people told me on Intrepid when I got mine too. Told me horror stories, and I guess some of the earlier ones were really lemons. But I have had such good luck with mine it is unreal.

At least the warranty is still on the Chrysler and it has a documented history of maintenance since it was a program rental.

My mechanics can fix any of the cars so I won't need to go to a special shop for the Audi or any model. They built a nice shop in their yard and don't even charge to put the car on the machine and charge about half the hourly labor as other garages. Maybe I will buzz over there today with both cars or something!
