Got my Iphone yesterday

What an amazing little product.

I feel like a walking advertisement.

I had NO idea what this thing could do until I got my hands on it...

I have 1300 photos on it, 3 (full-length) movies, and 965 songs (including Album art).

Expensive? - yes. but worth every penny

They're all my stuff! You have to use I-Tunes to activate the phone, and to get your 'stuff' onto it. I, first (because I was SO sceptical) let it sync my music. I let it try to do ALL of my music that I have on Itunes. Low & behold - it worked!!
ALL of my music, and album art!

So I played around with my pictures on my pc, made a folder called "photos for Iphone". I copied all (most) of my Jamaica pictures, my wedding pictures, my kids pictures, pet pictures, etc. to that new folder.
Then I plugged in my Iphone and went to the Pictures tab. i found and selected my new folder, clicked Sync. and Holy XXXX!!!
It freakin worked!!

It has a map on it - the google earth map. you can get driving directions on the road! Last night, I typed in "togos san jose, ca" - it gave me pinpoints on the map where every Togos in San Jose is - if i click on a pin point, I can get to the website (and log in)

I can even zoom in to Treasure Beach and see Blue Marlin & Coquina!! I can see the swimming pool at Blue Harbour in Port Maria!

All on my PHONE!
Oh, I can get emails (as long as it's not to my yahoo mail). I have comcast, and it gets my mail from anywhere!

It is SO incredible!

In fact, I got the email on my phone that someone had replied to this thread!

Hubby and I were Instant Messaging each other from our works yesterday!

Alarm, Timer, Stop watch, calendar, calculator, camera, weather (for multiple cites - of MY choice), stock watch, OH yah - and I can watch UTube videos without even logging in to anything!

I can't think of anything else right now..

Oh - service is a little steep, but it's ok - $79.99 (unlimited internet, etc...)

I really think they should lower the price (maybe to 299/399, and reduce the monthly to about 59.99.

Then, so many more people COULD afford one - they are going to make billions anyway.

I ordered it directly from apple. It arrived on the 3rd business day after I placed the order. Luckily, I was home, cuz I did have to sign for it.
I heard that when you get one in a store, you have to be there first thing in the morning b/c they run out of them as soon as the store opens.

(this was sort of a 'consolation prize' for me. With my husband getting a new job in April and I just started a new job last week - we couldn't go to Ja this year... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crybaby.gif[/img] Gotta build some vacation time first...)
