Betty is improving daily we think..?
She had an infection and retained too much water so a quick trip to the doctor was in order on Wed. for meds.

Her pain is still a concern but she's doing her best to fight through it with the help of the meds.
She is doing her walking and eating well, but her emotions and frustrations are her real battle now.
The infection is looking better I think but we'll know more on Tuesday when we return to the doctors to have the staples removed...ouch.

Hey Natty! I started a thread in this forum with a few pictures. Feel free to add yours! You have to upload them to photobucket.com. The snow was so much fun this morning but it's gone now. It went up to the mid 40's here. I was hoping to get a snow day tomorrow but that ain't gonna happen. lol.

Hey all!!

Busy weekend this!! Company Friday night for a birthday dinner, cleaned up the aftermath saturday morning and then headed out to Truro on Cape Cod for an overnight with old friends.

My new camera arrived just minutes before I left. Had a nice dinner and a movie by the fire, breakfast this morning/afternoon before heading home this evening.

Stopped at the market and my cell phone rang: &quot;Hell this &quot;<span style="font-size: 8pt">QK's Employer</span>&quot; Due to tomorrow's snowstorm work has been cancelled. All managers, supervisors &amp; e-workers will be expected to work from home. The building will be closed.&quot;


SNOW DAY!!!!!!!! Annd a new camera!!

Ok, my friend in Kingston sent me this link to this short video, well it made me cry.

I love the dynamic and bond between humans and 'wild' animals. Hope you enjoy it.

Weekend was good, my dinner party last night was a hit and we laughed and talked for hours upon hours.

Isn't that great about a room full of women.

I cooked this in one of my JaJa cook pots ...

2 cups peeled and 1/2-inch-diced boiling potatoes (4 potatoes)
8 extra-large eggs
15 ounces ricotta cheese
3/4 pound Gruyère cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
