Marnin people!!! Rise and shine! Busy here already this morning. It's above zero!!! Might even get to 30. No sun though, so it won't feel that warm. Sun and 30 would feel like freekin summer, i swear!

I know (((Nanook))) when I heard the weather man say 70's I was like WTH?

Ha NDG, on the PLUS side...the Jamaican sled dog team is going to be here on the weekend and I will be there with bells on! If it were to turn 70 the event wouldn't be able to take place!

Good morning everyone....

let me just say that I never really dealt with wind chill factor and right now the winds here are <span style="font-weight: bold">C O L D</span>. I have no idea how cold that is, but it's coming from one of you who was feeling vexed because you weren't able to make a trip down this winter. Well enough is enough, if you pay the airfare, you can sleep on my futon and cut out this freezing wind. Deal????

You know getting things done in Jamaica, isn't always easy. With that said yesterday was a series of challenging events that caught me in a tail spin and I wondered when it would end.

The energy has to change and I'm starting this day with positive music and good intentions so everything, I pray will fall into place.

Well, I just had a terrible shower...

I was standing there soapy hair and all and the water quit.

Yesterday I unplugged the heater in the pump house a little prematurely! Well, it didn't take too long for it to thaw once I ran out and plugged the heater back in so I am all rinsed now but soap drying on your skin and hair is not a good feeling, mi a tell ya.

Been there how many times!!!!

Water stops running on the Westend, that's why we HAVE to filled bottles of water at all times in our house. No fun at all!

Nooks, you coud have used your icon to warm up. Too bad we don't have one with water running.

I too have been in the shower here and lost the water, and of course, I was full of soap. I just yell, &quot;TED!&quot; and he switches to the tanks. Someday I will get caught taking one and he will be at the craft market. I should put a water jug in the shower stall.

BTW when I took my fresh yesterday evening, I had to crawl in bed to get warm. What a winter this has been here. I actually like the cooler weather. Even with the wind up, the temperature in our bedroom has not dipped below 72.

I usually don't have to use my hot water heater too often, most years I turn it on once every couple of days and only at Christmas / New Years time. But this year since we aren't having hot days, I have to turn it on everyday for about 1/2 an hour so I'm not bathing in really cold water. The sun isn't heating up the pipes long enough to keep the water warm enough to bathe after dark. And since it's chilly / cold outside, it's not like its refreshing to take a cold fresh!!
