Marnin Glory Roots! Loverly! It sounds like your house is gonna be so nice you won't want to leave! I am working on mine as we speak, just takin a little break. The destruction is hardly over then the construction can begin! I can hardly wait to tear down my upper cupboards but I have to put away the disaster that happened over the living room. I can hardly wait for floors and insulation and sheetrock and plumbing and hopefully windows. Pretty much a rebuild gonna happen here, hopefully I can find the $$$.

I've been burning the phone wires all last night and since early this morning working on a dog expo for the dog show at the fair this summer. We're going to have as many breeds as we can find and get people to come and do an information booth on each, then a parade of breeds just before our show. It's funny how you get roped into a little thing and suddenly it turns into a full blown project but it's a worthwhile one. I will represent the Dobermans and Miniature Pinschers and we'll have some of as many breeds as we can find. Hopefully Paris's breeder will do the Standard Poodles Good thing I know people in high places cause it will be a smashing success. Of course we will add rescue groups and the whole shebang. There is even gonna be dock dogs this year!

Feeling much better today, though I ended up in the ER last night. Bad bad pain in my belly for 4 hours before I decded to go. 2 shots of Morphine and it didn't touch the pain. It went away about 1 a.m. on it's own. They gave me the morphine about 10pm and I KNOW it doesn't take 3 hours to work. Still not sure what the problem was/is. Once the pain went away they pretty much told me to see my own doc.

They want me to take a hormone for 12 days then make an appointment.

Right now I'm just dog tired even though I slept in til 1:30.

Yes, mi did mean May! I am starting to be glad I canceled my Earth Day booth plans! It's this Saturday at farmers market and I'll show up for awhile on my way to the dog match but I sure am glad I won't be sitting there freezing!

QK - take care of yourself - get all the days of work you can

ROOTS - so nice to have a man around the house

LOOPS - those orchids are gorgeous - i went to the nursey today and looked at stuff to try and save my lawn - i just looked - not sure if i'm ready for that project - but gotta do something with that brown spot in front of my house - i saw some little patches of lawn that looked like they can be laid down like tile - i may try a few before investing in more

NANOOK - you are the busiest woman i know

so HOUDINI (Sheba) met me at the garage door after my 1 hour errand - she busted out of the crate - lawd i don't know how she did it - must have made herself as thin as she could and pulled the edge back from the bottom - she looked proud as punch when she greeted me when i got home

oh and it was sleeveless weather here today - and i hear the weekend is gonna be HOT
