I got a sweet Azalea plant and a gift card as I arrived today ~ color is called 'bittersweet' .... a beautiful deep coral color ... I hope I can make it thrive ~

Marnin Rootsie! I just heard from my guy in the UP an hour away and he got a foot. A little closer to me, they got the 17 inches. Sheesh!

A lady goes to her priest one day and tells him, "Father, I have a problem. I
have two female parrots, but they only know how to say one thing."

"What do they say?" the priest inquired.

They say, "Hi, we're prostitutes. Do you want to have some fun?"

"That's obscene!" the priest exclaimed, then he thought for a moment. "You
know," he said, "I may have a solution to your problem. I have two male talking
parrots whom I have taught to pray and read the bible. Bring your two parrots
over to my house, and we'll put them in the cage with Francis and Job. My
parrots can teach your parrots to praise and worship, and your parrots are sure
to stop saying...that phrase...in no time."


"Thank you," the woman responded, "this may very well be the solution."

The next day, she brought her female parrots to the priest's house. As he
ushered her in, she saw that his two male parrots were inside their cage,
holding rosary beads and praying.


Impressed, she walked over and placed her parrots in with them. After a few
minutes, the female parrots cried out in unison: "Hi, we're prostitutes. Do you
want to have some fun?" There was stunned silence.

Finally, one male parrot looked over at the other male parrot and exclaimed,
"Put the beads away, Francis, our prayers have been answered!"

I went shopping today. This can be exhausting stuff. I grabbed 6 new tops and a pair of jeans a pair of shoes and a purse even. They are practically giving away clothes at the mall! Stuff was marked down 30 to 65% and I got a 15% senior citizen discount! Yes!!! Today I scarfed my first senior perks!

Anyway, the money I spent was minimal. I mean I couldn't believe it. The best thing is the purse. Or the fun red top. I hadn't actually bought a purse in over 5 years except for a nice winter one about 3 years ago! I'm gonna have a lot of fun in the red top!

Marnin QK! I coulda got 20% off if I had used a charge card to buy the stuff. But nah, I'm more of a cash and carry kinda girl. I learned the credit card lesson some years back.

In my pre caffine haze I forgot to say good morning to alla the peeps. opps, good freekin morning! Today I am getting the weather that you all in the east are going to have for the weekend. Yep, 70's they say! I hear Laurel will see the 80 that you are all salivating.

I just put the new duds away. One cotton sweater was the only warmer thing I got and it was 52.00 but now has a 4.97 price tag on it and let's not forget that 15% senior discount!

The rest of the stuff will be awhile before I can wear cause it is sleeveless with cute little straps!

Ok I'ma gonna go melt some glass all day today!

I gotz my usual Thursday Bad Head .... **UGH** missed it last week cuz it came pon me on Tuesday instead ~

Nooks - what fun ... love some good bargins ~ I have not shopped for new stuff in YEARS!! my everyday work pants are fallin apart ~ everyday work tops are well worn / washed out lookin ... but ~ Girl needs her eyes checked and will need eyeglasses ~ Bwoy needs wisdom teeth out ~ I need some dental work soon before I start lookin like this

Good Lord ... Bwoy begins nexx school in July as well ... WHERE is that money gonna come from ??? no wonder I gotz a headache ... all I do is dream of livin in my garden surrounded by bush ~



guess I better check out some more financial aid applications for Bwoy ... maybe we can get him a loan thru my work ?
