I'd like to add to the prayer circle a prayer for the many people who are in emotional stress, some who feel they can't connect with other people and feel lost. This world isn't an easy place, people get hurt and turn to self destruction and outward anger. For all of those people who are struggling, I am calling out to higher powers to allow some healing to take place and restore peace of mind, body and spirit.

well everything has fallen apart, my life is a shambles and I'm at the end of my rope. I don't feel like detailing it but I'm lost I feel alone and abandoned and hopeless. I don't know what to do at all.

GS, when I was young I too was at the end of my rope, but I had a talk with myself and said if I am at the bottom, there is no other way but to go UP! When I would get down I would think of that and went up to the point of being happy with my life and myself. Please remember to love yourself also. It helps to get you through the bad times. You have family here and we care about you. Love and prayers.

So sorry Skell about your recent 3 deaths in your circle. This seems overwhelming. Remember we are here for you. Pour your heart out here and we will listen. I am praying for you.

I have never met you but I know your pain.

I don't know what your spiritual beliefs are, but when my world seems to be falling apart, and trust me, it does often, I know it is a time of testing my faith.

I, like you, have been through some harder then hard times, where there is no money and seems no way out. First I freak and then after some time, I come to realize that we are truly in our Creators hands. I then search for a place within,where I can grasp that I have to go through this and then I pray. I actually I call out, often times I scream, &quot;My Lawd, the creator of all that is, you've put me here and I have no idea what you want me to do. I am asking for guidance and to show me YOUR way. I trust that YOU are in control of all things great and small, I am begging your mercy. I will walk in the direction you show me and live in your glory, as your humble daughter.&quot;

Then I try my best to live in that faith. But I am not perfect, same as you, so I go through it over and over again.

My Creator is compassionate and merciful. This I know with certainty.

I hope that you have some friends or a close loved one who you can talk to, cry or just have them hug you. This sometimes is all we need to take the edge off.

For you my friend I will call out the same way and ask that blessings be shown to you.

You're never alone in this. The world isn't a joyride for some of us at times. We all have our individual journeys to trod. But we make it through.

I appreciate everyone's words and comfort and advice, I need some help here. I don't know if this is the problem but I don't think I know HOW to leave it in God's hands. I believe in God and His power etc. but I don't know how to just let go and allow him to carry me. When I think I've let go it seems that I didn't really I just locked myself off and got mired in depression, to get out of that I try to take control back, I get out and push and push and wind up in the same cycle. TO be honest with everyone here, I think that I'm spiritually handicapped, I'm an intellectual of sorts so I tend to think too much and analyze too much, it's how I've survived but I can't find that joy that way. I need to know how to pray and believe it will be delivered.

Skelly gave me some prayers and I've been praying them but now I'm where I am which honestly seems to be the polar opposite of the prayers I've prayed. So I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I prayed so hard for good to come, clearly defined goodness. not 'in the long run you'll look back&quot; good stuff, but good positivity, sun shining on my face and the fruits of my labour blossoming. but it looks like I'm so far away from that. I don't want to hear a forest fire makes room for new growth, I want to see my trees healthy and strong and I want the new growth to thrive instead of being trampled time and again.

How do I let go and leave it in God's hands?

on a hopeful note a friend of mine said she may be able to get me an interview for a job at the hospital, I really hope she can make it come through. the hospital she's at is a great place to work as I've done a temp gig there before, and it's close to home.

All I can say for me is, I can easily visualize myself as a child. In this world when we are children we don't trouble ourselves with the big problems of the world. We KNOW that our parents will handle everything. We don't worry about money and food and the big stuff. Well it's the same thing, we are children and YOUR creator is the parent. In this, same way, you let go of the problem, trusting YOUR parent will care for you and your needs.

Trust me I am a person who likes to control most things in my world, so letting go, giving it up and living in faith isn't easy for me to do. But if there is one thing that I am learning living here in Jamaica is to do this.

Ever wonder why when you're in Jamaica and you see people who seem calm and when you ask them how they are doing, they reply, I give thanks for life. Where there is life there is hope. Well they are living in faith. They know things may not look perfect but they still have life.

It's not easy, not at all. But I have been through so much that the stories would scare you. But I have made it through. And each day I am learning to trust my Creator more and more.

Just the other day I was talking to a friend in Europe and I said, you know sometimes I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing at all. He responded to me by saying, he sat in one place for 14 years doing what he knew was the right thing, barely making it and now his break has come. He said, this is life and we have to have faith and continue to live a clean life.

This is where I'm at and I hear you loud and clear.

As a child grab your Creator's hand, look pon your Creator and as a child give HIM glory and ask for guidance.

It doesn't always happen in OUR time, but HIS time.
