Good morning coffee guzzlers! I've got my cup in front of me. Actually, I'm in the shop and have my whole pot in front of me. I don't love the taste of coffee just the buzz, so I buy flavored beans and make it real strong and doctor it up with flavored coffee mate. Usually Creme Brulee or Coconut, but today I have a mixture of both.

I'm gonna work on my county fair piece today. It's a necklace I made two winters ago but never quite finished it the way I wanted it once I wore it. Well, it'll get finished today!

sigh...I want my torch back. It's been gone almost a whole month now and I'm just sad not being able to melt glass. wah.

If it ever stopped raining I could take a scooter jaunt. It has now rained 19 of the past 20 days. Sadder yet, we're still in severe drought with 3 inches below normal rain. It just rains enough to screw up the day but not enough to fix anything.

Oh well..go with the flow I guess, cause thee sure isn't anything a person can do about it!

Mornin good people,

I'm sitting with my tall glass of Ice Coffee, as usual, this morning. Just plain ol, JBM coffee.

It's hot and muggy here, but such is life. By this time of year, you just get used to it, though it is hard to keep moving in a day. Usually around 2 -3 in the afternoon I feel a little lifeless, so I have to do something like drink more ice coffee or take a nap.

Trip to Kingston was successful and happy to have not been the driver.

Negril is packed up like sardines right about now for the holiday weekend. Last night coming through town I thought I was still in 'Town'. So most likely, but not certain, I'll stay close to home for the weekend, unless I get a bug to go to the beach or possibly take in a late night dance, but with the heat, even that seems less appealing then usual.

Enjoy your day and take time to share a little love with someone who might not be feeling on top of the world. It often just takes a phone call or an email.

Tsmall thanks for letting us know what the weather is like. I only speak to Ted about every 2 weeks and we are usually talking about other things. He only mentions the weather if it is doing something to his garden. LOL.

Was a little cooler here yesterday, in the 90s and quite pleasant at nite.

You know Schultz, maybe I should consider replacing my food with coffee...

Mi soon gone fi pick up Momma. Jake has a previous engagement so mi & mom will take a leisurely drive to my brother's place, maybe hit a yardsale somewhere...

Oh goody a new thread!

I've been busy as a bee today so far. I ran cable to hook up my speakers in the shop to the computer & stereo in the bedroom where I have winamp and internet radio so now I have my AOL blues women radio piped into the shop! It's an awesome station.

I just finished a bracelet I made almost 10 years ago but because I didn't know then what learned after the fact, I couldn't get it off and on to wear it. It's all better now and will give me something to blog about. like in "what not to do". It also means I have a new bracelet!

Next comes the necklace I didn't finish 2 years ago! I really need to make stuff to sell though, and not for me. Oh well.

Yipee skipee, now that lunch is finished back to work!

Bwoy got the phone call this afternoon - he has to go out to Las Vegas next friday for the weekend ... altho - I guess there is all sorts of DRAMA going on out there ... his Grandparents have been 'banned from the hospital' by the boyfriend ... his father is doing ever so poorly ~

Good morning peeps!

I'm about finished coffee guzzling for the morning. Ready to start laundry so I can get out to my necklace. Hopefully I will finish it today! It will be a 50 or so hour piece IF I get it finished today.

So the 500 Hell's Angels are leaving town and I bet they're glad to get away from the police state. I'll be glad when the police state is over too. I mean, come on...practically every cop in Mn and Wi is up here right now ready for a battle. I think it's pretty sad...

I had to laugh the morning when reading the paper online.

The funny part is this!

If that was the worst they could come up with, I'd guess the Angels have toned it down since the 70s.

Well Mom & I had a nice day yesterday, didn't get in until after 10pm. Mom was beat... NO NAP!!

Dang, wonder what they would do if 500 Spliff smoking, drum beating Rastafarians were to rally into town?

I'm going to the beach in the next hour. I was told by my neighbor that the beaches were packed yesterday, a combination primarily made up of topless Italians and folks from town here for the holiday weekend.

Should be interesting and fun. There's always a small piece of the sea, sitting there waiting just for me.

Afternoon everyone. Couple of pictures, the red flower is some sort of hibiscus, so said the gentleman at Home Depot. Don't know if he was right or not. The flower lasts only about a day.

The middle picture is my bamboo I planted about a month ago. Its grown about a foot. I've wanted one since I moved down here and don't care if it invades my whole yard I love it! In fact I love anything bamboo.....

just came back from picking some greens and a squash. <span style="font-weight: bold"> Loops </span> if your there...WHy are my cucumbers plants lookin so pitiful they still have many little flowers on dried up looking vines. It gets water everyday at 7am Is this typical? Ive gotten about 12 fruits so far
