I think your plan sounds great. I wouldn't be living full time in Jamaica and we're keeping our home here. I also plan to see other countries, but just like the snowbirds here who have places in Florida, Jamaica and other southern locations that provide a sweet retreat during our long, cold Canadian winters, I'm looking forward to a winter base in Jamaica.

I guess what I've learned from the wise folks around me is that with careful planning early retirement can be sooo much fun! God willing, I look forward to the choices

Morning All ...

I read and totally agree with all the chat of bolting from the normal working lifestyle, rather than holding on till full on OLD AGE appears and I am still hobbling out to the bus stop.

and ya'll know - at the end of the day, THAT IS WHAT I WILL BE DOING TOO ... it is just when I look at the number difference in social security payouts - makes me think I have to keep working.

we are working toward getting me outta here and living a yard by 62/63(ish) ... and I expect to just keep a mini space for myself here. He is putting our quaint living space in order - is preparing a plan for a little sumthing sumthing regarding work for himself for supplimental $$ ~

and it all does just come out in the wash at the end of the day ~

trust - I really do hear you all ...

I have my mini Stay-cation coming up next week ... Beres on Wednesday ... Jaithie is coming round - gonna cook for her and drink all thru the day after Beres .... YeeHaa!!!

actually - Beres is the one that brought some of us Boardies together for the first time here in Minnie ...

I met Jaith for the first time going to see him -

I have only seen him once - but it was magical!!

wish more Boardies were close enough to be able to come too. We both took thursday off so we can extend the good vibes - she is spending the night, I will cook, and we will toast all you all poolside!!! We are headed into a REAL nice hot stretch of days ... hot hot leading up thru Tuesday ... so I hope that lasts thru next week!!

or You may know I'm in OH, and tonight I seen a comercial for Value City. They are having a pretty big sale. Also check out Big Lots, fine for a dorm room.

Thank you for asking RE, Ethan is great, slowly he is up to a solid 15 pounds. They've been trying to get him to take a bottle, but he still can't figure out how to swallow it right/ They will put a feeding tube into his belly until he can do some more growing and start the reconstructive surgeries. Hopefully somethime this winter.

He will be 1 year old November 15th. Time flies don't?
Here he is about a month or so ago, loving himself in the mirror.
