well my life is uneventful

was looking for tickets for christmas - gonna try and (maybe) go for a week - gotta see how my finances go tho'

2 1/2 weeks until school starts again - that is my countdown

abu is going through the teenage stage of staying up all night - and sleeping all day

next week: karate camp!

There is a Mx resturant in Ochee called the Blue Cantina.
Its on James ave and Main st. Wasnt bad Yes I was eatin mexican in Jamaica

I think G2 hinted about being around more often

I'm so glad to hear I can find Mexican in Ochie when we go visit the dog sled teams! See, laurel? Is not such a stretch, Mexican food is everywhere...even in yard!

And I do hope that g2 comes around more often!!!

I'll be gone for a couple of days to Sisters, Oregon. Going with S who has a sister in the area, but I'm staying with C. She and I will be going to Hero Quilts on Thursday. I hand in my 3 quilt tops. I want to get back into the cubby hole at the organizer's log home, where all the leftover material is thrown. I am a salvager and will make something outta the leftover stuff. But not until next year, just want to take the material for later. I want to work on my own projects for the 2 months remaining for my US stay.

I'm dealing with that stage too Seveen though I find it worse with girls. My son I can get out of bed with some discussion. My daughter..it's a whole other story, involving mood swings and...I'm too old for this!

Evelin people and non people alike. I mean, maybe Tango or Sheba might be reading too for all I know, right? I'll leave it at that for now...

I just came home from the extreme makeover house! Holy crap what excitement there is over there. As the crow flies the house is probably only 2 or 3 miles from me. When you live in the woods that's practically neighbors!

Anyway, I just started a thread in the NON Jamaica trip report section with loads of pics, so check it out!

I cannot even imagine what it must be like to be the family, and so far away knowing that the house is gone and this new excitement is taking place.

Annie, sorry to hear bout your toe......yep, like someone else said somehow it will get mashed-up again. Happened to me anyhow.

I'm thinking about changing my car cause it's old and I want a new one before I retire from my job. I want the Cooper mini ---- but it's really not practical.....I need to go with the safety rating and economy! Mi a get old here not and want fe sport! lol.

MAWNIN and Happy Thursday!!

The mini is cute Schultz!! And I hear ya on the practical. I'm thinkin tho, that at our age and when you're talkin about buyin a last car before retirement? May as well be something you really want.
On the other hand if it doesn't have a great safety rating... I always think of how little they are in comparison to everything else on the highways. Very low profile.
I don't know ANYTHING about the mini. Other than I see them on the roads.
