You certainly have a problem.. You need to effectively work on changing the "i can afford to help" sign you have been wearing.
and replace it with the "I can just afford to do whatever I do" sign. The only people who ask me for money , is my kids. As a matter of fact one of my kids. The other never ask me for a dime.In Jamaica the only thing they ask me for is work. They all want me to open some business where they can get work. Reason is they know that I believe that the only self respecting way to get money is to earn it.
They also see my " i can't afford to support you' sign I wear on a daily basis. I tip you could say generously, but The service must be good,too if not i still tip but not as i would normally do. Marilyn: Listen I need to get some information from you about sizes for the little girl, so I am going to check and see who is coming to Jamaica next and maybe you can send it.....but oh wait.... I wont' be able to call you back with the information because they stole the phone that I have the number to...

(you can't get the same number again, even I know that)

Jamaica: The same phone you know
Marilyn: But I thought THEY stole it off of you
Jamaica: Well no I replaced it you see, I bought 3 chips, but I don't have a phone to go with the other two yet.
