I took a sick day yesterday!
My boss is so funny, hear me: A I am not coming in today I have a upset stomach. Boss: You have a upset stomach and you are not coming in today? Me: Yes, I will see you tomorrow, goodbye!
He is one of the bosses that will asked you will you be in later if you feel better or after your Doctors appointment if you stay on the phone long enough with him...

you are better than me! i usually just email "i am sick" i don't say see you tomorrow
one time i wasn't sick and took the day off - i decided to make it really realistic - i should take the next day off - well the next day after was friday - so heck may as well take friday off too

Hope you feel better quickly take advantage of your time off.
I'm thinking about painting my kithen. So maybe I'll start preping today. I hung paintable textured paper in there a couple yrs ago and havent painted on it yet. Hope the wieght dont pull it off.

He is easy to lead. One of the few bosses that I have had that I absolutely love
Really easy going person, in our last meeting he stated that he need to become more stern because people take advantage of him.
Seveen, it is weird, I only take mental health days. Usually, if I am not feeling well I will go to work! I like to enjoy a mental health day every now and then and I always decide at the last minute. I was already dressed and ready to walk out the door yesterday when I decided I needed a Natty day.

i hear you on the mental health days - i love to take one occasionally - it's the only time i'm home without abu
we have MLK day off - but so does abu - thus my mental health actually becomes more impaired

they have served it before and i always crack up
they have a dribble of jerk on the pork and you're hard pressed to taste anything

Booful pics Rootsie! Happy for your hookie NDG! I used to take one for myself every now and then. Yep, good for the soul! If only the US peeps got vacation like their foreign counterparts. When we were booking to go to Sweden and Finland, there was to be no option for most of June or July because the places shut down so people could have a long holiday! Imagine a thing so wonderful. A couple people I talked to flew from Sweden to Wisconsin to buy Harley's when on vacation, so the pay must be good too. Cripes, they had work lounges in every control room with couches and kitchens. I wanna come back as a worker anywhere but here!
Speakin of work, been working hard lately. Been traveling, have more to do. My holiday is officially over.
But we have a heat wave!!!!! Sunny and 20 now feels like Spring. A month ago 20 felt cold. Go figure.
It warmed up to 16 or 18 or something n this day so I went to the beach to celebrate...
