The night did start off quite great. I was in a field in JA listening to some wicked tunes from a number of great selectors. The music was pumping and the party was on. I was in heaven. There was a light breeze in the air and a million stars were twinkling just for me. The trees joined in on the dance and were swaying to the beat. I thought everything was coming together to say-Welcome back Shug.
Ohh, I lost my mind for a sec, but I regrouped. The night ended with me cursing someone out at 3:00 in the morn.
I also didn’t lose my cool and remained in control. I felt really proud of myself on that front. I am woman hear me roar. (Some of ya’ll may remember this quote-You know I’ll fight you!
) Of course the next day I could laugh about it. The funniest things that I said were. You better back up off me, I’m not new and I’m not afraid of you. Also-nobody told you that Guyanese women are crazy, you better go on.
