when I asked Orbra a little after you left Negril if you weren't going to write a trip report, she said, you'll take your time doing it.
So I see.
It was nice meeting you, Barbara and Kat. I won't rush it, I'm enjoying what came before I met you.
And then after we met, all which is still to come.

What did you think of the outameni experience? I thought it was ok. Good historical info...but seemed like something was missing.
And BTW, I didn't get any sugarcane when I went.

Pepper your response was right on point At the end of the tour, yes, it did feel like something was missing but I couldn't exactly put my finger on it 
I didn't opt for the chips and soda 
As I was walking to the car, the other family that was on the tour with me said "Don't forget you chips and soda". You had to go back in and get it, so I passed. Plus, I'm fluffy enuff 
without it

Marilyn, thanks for the suggestion Yup, now you know, mystery solved 
In doing my research it took me forever and a wealth of googling to figure out the name of the place, but with your help, it worked!

Yes. It was like an interactive museum. Real people with matching accents too (I said matching, not authentic, but they did a good job)

Each day I made sure that I got out at least for a walk. After 2 days of the buffet
we both had enough and needed some food, food. I thought that I was surely going to die a bread death at that buffet 
We returned from our tour early afternoon and decided it was a perfect time to have our first real meal
After a brief siesta, we eagerly walked to the Chinese food place upstairs in a building with red décor(that’s the way I described it when I inquired about the place before we left the states) Hong Kong International was indeed upstairs in a building but the decor was pink not red 
.
It was just as I remembered it from my last time there. The food smelled so good, it was hard to remain sensible and not order everything we saw passing by on plates. Since it was 2 of us, we tried to order wise, but we still had more than enough food left over (and it didn’t go to waste)
The shrimp had the lightest batter I’ve ever tasted in my life. Yeah. This was one of those meals that had me swinging my feet and curled toes in enjoyment while I ate.
We ordered Sesame Chicken, Sweet N Sour Chicken, Fried Shrimp and Fried Rice
(Before anyone asks, that is not an unknown flying object in the food (its a charred onion))
