Well, I thought Coyaba was beautiful until I went to The Enchanted Garden. Absolutely breathtaking!!! As you can tell, I’m really into nature and I felt like I was in heaven being at these gardens. Enchanted was once owned by Seaga (former Prime Minister) until it closed down after 9/11 (I think). They were set to reopen a couple days after I visited. My bro has a friend that works there and he was able to arrange for me to get a tour prior to the grand opening. I think they should have called this place Eden. If you’re into falls, this place is for you. There are 14! It was absolutely delightful.

Still the best hotel I have ever stayed at, glad it is reopening.

Beautiful pictures. And I agree you and your family look very nice. I love that you have pretty flowers in your hair. Thanks for sharing your trip, even though I live in Jamaica, not like I've been everywhere. This gives me ideas of new places to explore.

if it's the original sculpture, it was done by Christopher Gonzalez and was supposed to be of Bob Marley. it was a little too allegorical, i guess - marley rising out of the roots and trunk of a tree - and dem seh it neva fava marley too tough. public hated it so the government commissioned another statue from Alvin Marriott. that Marley statue stands outside stadium. the public liked the second one better, but i'm not really crazy about it myself.

wow - this is a wonderful adventure!!

all the trips over to Ochi that some of the others have taken - I have never seen anyone take us into these gardens ~

spectacular!!! I would LOVE to visit ... putting them on my list!!

yeah - i saw that when i was looking up a pic of marriott's version. can't remember if i knew of his death at the time.

i was lucky enough to interview both gonzalez and marriott back in the day. gonzalez also caught flak for his statue of jesus with a penis.

It really is wonderful Milo. It's great that you were able to stay at the hotel back in the day. Unfortunately, they aren't reopening the hotel; just the Garden for now. Hopefully in the future they can expand and reopen the hotel, because I would definitely love to stay there.
