...or the 'don't make any plans' trip report.
My travel dates were set for several months. My sister was flying in from NYC, my niece from S. Carolina, and me from Florida. We had several day trips planned, we phoned, e-mailed and text messaged each other in anticipation of the trip.
We only made it to one of those planned trips. But we enjoyed ourselves doing everything we didn't plan on doing.
My flight to Mobay was scheduled for mid-day. I have never flown to Jamaica this late in the day. I always fly in on an early morning flight. Typically, I would stay up until the wee hours, sleep for a couple hours and sometimes not at all, then head to the airport. It felt odd hanging around the house till late morning, but it was nice to get several hours sleep the night before JA.
I use the web check-in feature on AirJ, and was checked in withing 5 minutes. That left me plenty of time to sit and wait at the airport. I spent that time making phone calls. The flight was quick and uneventful. Customs and Immigration took about 40 minutes total.
Finally late afternoon, me reach a yaad.
