just up the road a french ethiopian woman runs a retreat . . . i got to tour the place so my girlfriends can stay on my next reach . . . it's serene and the views are stunning

have a few more random pics and it's done till may . . .

i sense that this type of "raw" jamaican style living is too much for most travellers . . . basic living jamaican style is not for the faint of heart . . .

for me personally, it's a stress free environment to recharge myself to be able to do another 3 months at home at an extreme high pace . . .

this type of jamaican yard environment took 24 years to find . . .

i love your home - the idea of adding the slats does give a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel to the place - and i couldn't help but notice - no bars

my next trip i want to do it "raw" - wanna spend a few days in negril but most of the time in some community refreshing my self and getting back in balance - my son loves that atmosphere too (and needs it)

yes seveen, no bars - have to have the right environment for "NO BARS" . . . it's a unique yard setting, a little in the country. would not work in a "town" setting . . . how the whole yard/compound is run is the key to secure setting and ability to have the "open air great room" . . .

hope you get to enjoy some real yard style comforts. . . . i regain my balance every trip there and your son would thrive in that kind of community feel/atmosphere. . . . my foster child(extreme issues with pdd diagnosis) thrives in jamaica.

I see NO BARS and I'm thinking what place in Jamaica has no bars! Afta there one in the smallest of villages and multiple ones on every corner anywhere in Yaad!
