Next time I am downtown Kingston I will definately try and take in another one of these concerts. The band changes monthly.

<span style="font-style: italic">wonderful </span> report Pepper! i've never been to Kingston, loved seeing it thru your eyes. you have a great way with words, and so very pretty too.

i love the free concerts, it seems an especially nice thing to do for their employees, good for morale.... evryone needs a lil break in their workday. especially when u get to dance on lunch break!

that hotel is gorgeous, the decor is so innovative. LOVE the bathrooms.
- except - i really do not get wat d <span style="font-style: italic">L</span> the deal is with that one lamp (?)

and i am always mistrustful ah dem foofoo restaurant where they dress up the food like one art project on the plate, u get 3 shrimps, 2 asparagus and a leaf a lettuce with a few brush strokes of garlic sauce - for 5000 bucks. like you're paying for an art exhibit, not a chef. i just dunno about that.

thanks for taking us along with these great pictures, (even tho the pan man chicken one was <span style="font-style: italic">just.... not.... fair! </span> hehe), this makes me wanna get to Kgn even more now....

I was going to have to google him myself. Don't know much about him and couldn't remember what name was engraved on the base of the statue.

I walked end to end of the painting looking for a signature, none to be found.
And there wasn't one of those little stands in front of the painting that gave any info.

Maybe the signature is somewhere hidden in the middle of the painting. I would have stayed longer and searched or asked, but the driver was ready.

Thanks caf. You really should take a tour of Kingston. It has a different vibe/pulse from the rest of the island.

LOL, the hotel decor was stunning. My poor photography skills do not give it the justice it deserves.

I was told, the lamp design was inspired by the owner's wife. If my memory serves right, she is Asian. If I had taken a better picture, you would have been able to see the cob web design in the 'lamp shade'.
