<span style="font-size: 11pt">That Saturday morning I woke up early and lay there listening to the sound of my family sleeping... each with their own uniqueness...
Lilla's little breaths that sound kinda juicy
Imanni restless, snorting and moving, sleeping with that boy is like sleeping with a tornado... serious, the boy sleep BAD!
And then there is my honey, so quiet, sometimes I watch his chest to make sure he's still with me...

I give thanks to God for the beautiful family I have been blessed with.

Then I get up and get moving....

I love the beach in the morning
When the teal water looks like glass and the sand feels cold under your feet...





I stand by the water and let my feet get one last splash, and I look out at the spot on this earth where my life changed forever...



We've come such a long way from then...

I draw our name in the sand, and then head back to the room not knowing what to expect on this day we move go a country... </span>

<span style="font-size: 11pt">Things got pretty bad in Grange Hill this summer, and after gunmen hit his neighbors house in June, we decided he should move back up by Sister in the hills of Hanover. So, tho I had been to sister's many times, I had only seen his new place through the computer screen.

His brother Joseph who has driven us all over the island this past year in our quest for Astley's visa, was there right on time as usual to carry us up. (((Joseph)))

We made a stop by Sister's and got some love from the kids









then we piled back in the car and headed up the hill to home...

we turn off the main road, onto a little dirt road and slowly make our way up...

about half way up the hill we stop again at his cousin's house. We talk a while and stock up on ice...

J suggests coconut wata and I smile real big and grab the camera when Astley goes to fetch some!

There is nothing but lush green Jamaican countryside as far as my eyes can see...









These flowers are growing wild along the road, and I comment how much I like them...





We come to a stop, and I look out at the place my husband calls home.
It's a small, one room board house. Surrounded by ackee, breadfruit, and flowers...





There is a simple bamboo bench he built under a tree...
