so lush and green. remind me of home but here too much critter bout the place.
almost all of whom I have met before. They greet me with smiles and hugs, but they're not here to see me. Lilla is the star of the show and she is loving every minute of it. She is the baby of the baby, and she is named after a mother to them all. She is carried from one part of the yard to the other, in the house and out, her feet did not touch the ground again that day. Imanni ran and played with his new cousins and I tried to take it all in... The heat, the family, the house, the release of my baby to a yard full of people. In truth it was a bit overwhelming. I handled it with as much grace as I could, but I did not feel quite myself until the moon was high in the sky and all the people had gone...
silently, without movement, I lay there and cry... I love this man, I have made a covenant with God to spend my life with this person who has touched my heart and my soul like no other has, and I want nothing more than to fulfill that commitment. I want to spend my life loving, and caring for the man laying beside me, but if my country won't let him in, can I do it?? Can I live in a one room board house with two children??
We tell each other everything and he would not rest until he knew what was wrong... so I told him my fears, and then we both lay there crying for a while... he wants nothing more than to provide for us... We talk for a long time there in the dark, and I know he understands, but it hurts all the same... when I slap another mosquito on my leg he jumps up and turns on the light... my mosquito warrior to the rescue
he can catch them like no one I have ever seen
and he spent a good 20 minutes on the hunt
