Everything is quiet and DARK. No power. Which means, no music, no lights, no show. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]





Well no one leaves right away because we all hope the current will come on and the show in go on. So we do what we can to pass the time…talk, laugh and drink.

Check this….Sammy has a flash light.



Sammy pulls a mini flash light from her purse. I make a mental note to add mini flash light to my packing list.

“Sammy, you bought a flash light??”
“Girl, yeah…I always pack one.”

Jah Mamma, it WAS a cozy, breezy sweet darkness. At least that's how the rum had me feeling. I can still see the waves in the ocean...they glowed under the moonlight.

I told someone that if this had happened (lights out in a club)at home in L.A. "6 people would be dead and 4 officers would be down by now [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img]"

Sure enough, some LA folks I met were like, "YEP, its time to go [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scareyuh.gif[/img]". I told them only in Jamaica, only in Jamaica [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] I totally enjoyed what went on in the dark (good convo, plenny plenny laughs and a ton of picture flashes going off)

A dim light at the bar so folks can still order drinks. The moon light keeps the place from being in complete darkness. People are standing around talking and drinking as if nothing happened. And the breeze…oh my goodness, it is heavenly.

The three of us are having a ball. I swear I must look young in the dark. I mean REALLY young because out of allllll the men there, I was approached by a toddler wearing a fur lined hooded parka…hoodie up of course.

“I saw you so me come fe..”
“What…what did you say?”
“I say, I saw you so me come ova..”
“I’m sorry sweetie, I can’t hear you over the noise…what??”

He smiled. Then started again.

“You look nice, so me come meet you.”
“What you got meat for me??? Did you mention food?? Wait till Sammy hears this.”

He cracked up.

“No sweetie. I’m just messing with you. I appreciate the attention, but you are way too young for me and I don’t want to go to jail while on holiday.”

He was cool. Gave me a hug and got fur in my eye from his coat. Hurt like haill.

I made Sammy do this. Everything made me laugh that night. Lawd we had fun.





The crowd has thinned enough for us to make our way out. No we didn’t get to see Mr. Holt, but its okay. The night was off the chain and that’s the important thing.





I think Sammy got jerk chicken. I know I wanted some, but I didn’t because we went to Sammy’s room to talk about the night and I begged her for food. She gave me ham and crackers. My high was coming down FAST. So fast I couldn’t clean my mess off her bed. I felt really bad about that and apologized as I staggered out the door.



I’m sorry Sammy, but I had to leave. I was so sleeping I was borderline delirious. I started thinking you two were in my room and I was about to tell you to get the [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70374-lipsrsealed.gif[/img] out.

The rayon is truly a wonderful hotel. I took a group of young ladies last summer everyone loved the place. and pansy made sure that everyone was well taken care of. you could not fill more safe trust me. I plan to take another group this summer .great hotel!
