A couple more of Victoria Harbour.... it was VERY humid and hazy for all of our 6 days in Hong Kong... Typhoon season also which was affecting the weather as there was one swirling around Taiwan while we were there...

So, I promised Likkle Mo that when we were finishing off our trip in Hong Kong, I would take her for one day to either Hong Kong Disney, or Ocean Park Hong Kong for a treat (and since she did so many of the places and things that &quot;I&quot; wanted to do and see on this incredible trip!).

Disney is almost shut down now due to low attendance and because it is not comparible to Disney's in other places (or so I have heard). Anyone we asked in H.K, or before going said for us not to waste our time. Ocean Park on the other hand, gets great reviews, has all sorts of rides like a major amusement park, and on top of that, it has an &quot;Ocean&quot; theme, which is great for people like us because we love sea creatures! Ocean Park has the largest underwater shark aquarium in the world, and when we were there, they also had a Jellyfish exhibit which was very cool, and 4 of the Panda from the Earthquake zone in China that we showed you earlier, had been brought here also, so they were neat to see. All in all a great day!

PLUS, I had heard that in taking the cable cars over the mountain to get into Ocean Park, you get the BEST view of the South China Sea (which Ocean Park is set upon). This was the absolute truth! Although I was a little nervous due to a malfunction last year where a cable car came loose and 3 people died, I figured it was likely safer than ever now due to serious repair! We decided to go for it!!


Here is our trip over the mountain in the cable cars... It took about 15 minutes and at times, I had to NOT look down!!

The following shots are of the South China Sea.... it was a beautiful, monochomatic blend of sea meeting the sky!

Some shots are from the cable car, and the later shots are from the edge of Ocean Park.

So needless to say, since it was just the two of us, I HAD to go on the rides with her I am NOT a rider! Also this meant I couldn't really take pictures of any rides except the following one that she could do herself...

The kid has always like her swings!!

The other parts of the day were spent looking at all of the great aquariums - I am not sure that these pictures turned out the best because they were all underwater, and dark, so the flash bounced off the glass... but we saw a few neat things like these two sea horses mating (How often do you see that???)

The shark and underwater aquariums were too hard to shoot in because they were too dark, but i highly recommend them if you ever go to Hong Kong - it was 5 levels of swesome sea creatures - sharks, sea turtles, HUGE grouper, bottom feeding flounders, and every other fish you can imagine!

Now for the Jellies!!!
They had an awesome exhibit of over 50 types of jellyfish!! Again, it was hard to take pictures because the exhibit was in a darkened area, but you get the idea!

Needless to say, other than the Olympics, Kung Ku Panda was VERY popular in China and Hong Kong this summer and they kind of used that as the theme for the Panda Exhibit at Ocean Park!! It was way better to see the pands in their natural habitat in Chengdu China, but we were glad that these ones were brought somewhere safe too!!

Tomorrow, I will finish off our journey by taking you to the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery - the wackiest bunch of gilded buddhas I have ever imagined seeing!!
