Thank you TSmall...that's exactly what my sister told me. Then she said, she's adventurous also but she needs someone to go places with her. Me...I just go.

We spotted the waterfall from way over yonder and in true Compry style, I needed to get closer. Forgetting that we had already walked for a long period of time it was onwards to the waterfall.

On another train of thought, I noticed a lot of the buildings had some type of roll up shutters on the outside of the windows that seemed to be used as a window shade. Interesting.

Pausing to go get ready for an appointment but wanted to add. Yes, Zurich is a beautiful city however, for the entire time we was there, I noted less than a dozen black folks. With the exception of one young man, the ones who I saw didn't smile and quickly looked away when I smiled at them. It was the strangest thing. Very odd.
Then there were the folks who looked at us strangely as we walked hand in hand. I found that hilarious and would pull closer to him. If you can get by the attitudes of some of the folks...it's a great place to visit.

Racism + fear is a B i t c *, good thing we don't buy into it.
I share you're sense of adventure and it has lead me down many dark allies and up many spectacular mountains. Never give it up, the world is a much nicer place when you have that on your side.

Hi lady. I haven't bugged you in a long time. 
Thanks for dropping in. Yes the weather was crappy but also that wasn't my camera. My daughter took mine on her cruise so I had to borrow one and I wasn't really sure how to work it. Kept pushing the wrong buttons.

Really beautiful buildings in Zurich. I was there as a 14 year old, so my recollection of the place has been lost to some extent. Even with the deary weather it still looks pretty.Comment
