nan, love the pics of the old timers. Look how stern those old women were. My granny always looked so serious.

LOVE the sofa!! What I wouldn't do for THAT piece a furniture!!

I had a scanner and could never get the pics into the photo editing program. When you take a photo of it, it goes right in just like any other pic. Then you can edit away...

I really dont have many pix of myself Need to go thru some boxes to find ones of me...

Here is me daddy and baby egghead on the day he came home from the hospital. I drove my parents nuts that day cause from my 5 yr old POV my brother was white and we had the <span style="font-weight: bold">WRONG </span>baby

My dad showed infinite patience as I asked again and again if he was sure this was the right kid

Now when I look at the photo, I have no idea why I thought he was so pale skinned that he must have been white

but kids have a different set of eyes

When was this pic taken, looks like the 60s or maybe early 70s.

That framed shot IS great isn't it? Looks totally candid but also very professional.

That's from the mid seventies

Yeah man, daddy was Don Juan back in the day so no wonder he kept me locked in the attic when I hit puberty He was very suave and charming And you are so right about the goatee! I think cause he was my first love, every guy I date has one too (((Miss you Daddy))

That is me in the red. And u can tell daddy did my hair while mummy was in the hospital b/c braiding was not his forte!!

Here is a blurry one of me and family at my grad. Even though you cant really see it, I was so proud of my grad dress!

Early seventies picture of one of my mom's sisters and my favorite auntie in England. I was born in her house which she still lives in to this day.

Last one I have on my PC at the moment.

This is my mom's dad. My granny's husband from the other picture. Mom was the baby of 8 children with them and they both died before she turned 10 or 11 I think. Granny died of some mysterious throat disease...she couldnt eat and wasted away. And grandpa died maybe 2 yrs later in a car accident. He worked for the JA govt and was on the road constantly and of course they didnt do seat belts back then.

He originally is from St Lucia. He met my granny in Cuba before the revolution. They married there and then move back to JA after Castro came to power.

Both were fluent in Spanish, French and English. Really wish I could have met them both.

I think because his skin was lighter than mine and had straight hair, my 5 yr old mind couldnt do the math. Now, he just looks like a regular baby, but man, I made my parents nuts for a while I tell you

Wonderful, we all have a story to tell.

I was so happy when my container arrived here in Jamaica and 90% of my family albums and photos are here. Life isn't the same when your pictures are stored up in some room in boxes. If and when I leave this rock, I most likely will only take my photos with me.

I don't have a scanner, but I took a couple of pics of old photos.Sorry you can see my reflection in the glass.

This is me at age 2, that would be 48 years ago.



And another taken when I was 14, that would be 36 years ago.
I was living in Laguna Beach So Cal and already had the rebel spirit in me. Actually that rebel was developing most likely when the first picture was taken.



I will dig out some of old pics of my Sicilian family and my German family and try my best at it.
