Yesterday is over. Today is a new day in Yosemite

More snow fell and all I have to say is that it is beautiful. But I think I said that already

We just had breakfast at the inn and the innkeeper and I had a lovely conversation. Sons and I are now getting ready to go back into the Yosemite Park for some of its magnificent vistas. Hopefully I'll get pics to upload here.

I just took this photo from my bedroom balcony at the Big Creek Inn in Fish Camp, CA. The sun is out!

Belated condolences on your loss The pic of you on the bed with your husband's remains is a heart string tugger, and I hope and pray that memories of your years together and all the fun things you did together wil carry you and your boys through. Words fail me to describe the sheer beauty of Yosemite National Park. From the South Entrance we drove along recently plowed roads stopping and gazing in wonder at the vastness and utter splendor of the granite cliffs.

One of the Peas Boys took this today. That is the Leaning Tower cliff in the background, I think.

Today, our second day in Yosemite, was sunny and beautiful. Cold, but hey *shrug*.

We drove along the Merced River stopping every now and then to bask in nature's beauty. I must say that I am glad we are here at this time of year as it must be a zoo in the Summer

Along our drive today, I stopped at the Yosemite Chapel. While the boys hiked on their own nearby - probably to lik khalli - I entered the chapel alone. It was simple inside and there were hymnals and bibles at the pews. I prayed and cried some more. It is as if I am saying goodbye to one part of me. But the feelings are mixed ... I feel Mr. PZ is in a good place and, for that, I am happy. I also feel relieved (or something close to that) that we found a beautiful place to return Mr. PZ to the earth. Ashes to ashes.

Thanks, Tuffie. Mi come from some breed of Manchester people weh doan like drama and who are way too practical for their own good . But maybe it is easier for me to be strong. I am in a dance of life and Someone is leading!

Today, from a vista point called &quot;Tunnel View&quot; with El Capitan (7,569 ft. in the distance). This took my breath away.

I had on long silk undershirt and pants under those. So no extra bulk. Silk from WinterSilks.com

Also, I had just hopped out of the car to have this photo taken so is not like mi was on di trail or anything soh I packed layers in the car so that if we stopped for a short hike. Other layers = Columbia fleece top + down vest + waterproof shell over all that. Hat + 2 gloves + 2 pairs of socks + water proof hiking boots. And mi toe dem still naily frost bite after yesterday's 4 mile hike
