...at this conjuncture I gotta say that I got only about 3 more pictures left to post....and yet, sad to say...the tale ...which should properly end with us stepping on the plane,...is unfortunately 24 hrs. away. PS..so your lake isn't frozen? Ours are, but not the 2 or 3 feet thick it usually is this time of year! Will your lake be frozen over enough to ice fish?

ehhhhhh...wellll...it's a new day, and suffice it to say that.... (arloturdyamon , upon takin a quick glance at the ashtray to flick another ash...notices he's already got another cigarette burnin there.....puts THAT one out, takes another sip of coffee, rubs eyes and again looks down at keyboard, where he's dropped crumbs from the chocolate chip cookie he is having for breakfast...and ....fingers frozen, cuz they jus ran out of propane for heat yesterday, continues the hunt an peck process)....I'm going to attempt, once again, to finish this here report up in a timely manner. Thank you all agin for yur patience, an also for yur encouragement, QK, though it's really not required...cuz as you might have speculated...I'm quite at home in the dessert, or say, in any parts around these here forums here, like say, take, as of late...say "faith, reasonin, an philosophy" when there really aren't any of them things present at all there...kinda a dessert in itself one might say...which a lota people like! ...so, ...the snow is starting to come down steady..and it's pilin up on the roads more an more...we have about an hour an a half left till the rental car is due...but a few things to get done before that time arrives...LB digs out a map of Albuquerkie so we can know where we're goin. By the time we make it out of the mountains to the freeway below, there is like 4 inches of snow on the roads...and we're listenin to reports on the radio sayin that the particular freeway we are on has been closed west of ABQ....thank god we are east.... ...LB...who works great under pressure when she feels like it, finds an exit on the east side of town that will allow us to drop south a bit onto old route 66. I'm hoping we'll find a car parts store there that will have some cleaning supplies. Traffic, plenty of it there is, has slowed to a crawl and the wipers are building a pile of sow on the bottom edge of the windshield. Lanes don't exist, and the tires don't feel like they are going to give me a second chance at anything....scuze me another moment here...I gotta go double-check to make sure I don't have ANY pics of this...

ahhhhh...it was kinda like this cept ya couldn't see any pavement an there was only one lane in the middle that was bein used...everybody was in line...



anyway, then it took us a while to find route66, which had another street name on it now...we overshot it and then looped back...
