The chicken was off the charts. Girls got jerkin skillz ~

We were so hungry I forgot to photo it. nuff chat of the rest of we .. Poor Nooks had nothing to eat all day. Fussy Fussy regarding her foods she is ~ she skipped breakfast, and as she said - no fruit, no veg, no cheese, no crackers - but she did enjoy her Red Vines ~

... got home last night, feeling totally wasted from all that driving...G'marning Ladies!...gawd, What a great report!!!....and Lulu, double thanks for all the great photo's that the rest of us were too distracted to take! I totally wasn't expecting it. (Nan, [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]great as usual.) ...at the moment now I'm feelin kinda sentimental. what a trip.

It feels wierd being home...guess all we missed here was torrential rains...have a 2" deep "streambed" in the path going down to the house, and gravel that washed onto the brick part of the walkway. Couldn't believe it!!!....We had nothing but sun the whole trip. ...and now sun today for the first time in 9 months. We must be blessed.... Seven of our group were fortunate enuf to find time to make it over to Madeline Island...which is a "TRIP" in itself!....there just wasn't enough time to take it all in....could easily spend 2 weeks just getting started.... Ya sure, yu betcha...doncha know...
