Then Laurel I won't tell you about how it's not even 50 today so far and pouring. Egads. We picked a REALLY GOOD WEEKEND! This last one it was cold as hell by the water, I was cold here and wore a jacket most of the weekend. We were outside rebuilding my pump house and working and still needed jackets! I think on shore it was only a high of 60 with such huge winds they closed the beaches. We woulda froze if it had happened to us!

End of June/all of july is pretty safe. August can get cool at night. Indian Summer is my favorite and usually pretty nice during the day and no bugs.

Jaith and I were able to cruise all the way back to reality with her car top down ~ dang ~ I gotta get me one of those convertibles ... I have ALWAYS wanted one - that weekend road trip convinced me ... if I can ever buy a car again - it will be a soft-top one.

I have got to get my behind over to your neck of the woods. Everytime I see you or Nanook or someone post pictures from there I get so homesick I don't know what to do. I keep wondering how I ended up in California as opposed to Minnesota.
