Having finished our Old Belize adventure, we settled in for a couple of hours before heading out to the Harbour View Restaurant, reportedly Belize's Finest Waterfront Restaurant with a seating capacity of 100, and a short walk from The Belize Great House.



I think she would make a very good model.



In the cool of the evening, we were seated with a few other patrons on the patio overlooking the Caribbean Sea.



The low buzz from conversations around us wasn't distracting, and so we were able to enjoy the time for what it was. The service was excellent; the food simply first class. This was as close to a perfect evening as there possibly could be.

Churchgirl settled on Blackened Cajun Snapper Filet with Coconut Rice...



I had stuffed Chicken Breast with Pineapple, Ham, and Garlic Mashed Potato...



This was one of the few occasions on which her plate serving was smaller than mine [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img]

After a while, it was time to walk off some of that food so we took the long way around the block back to the Great House. It was great seeing Belizeans out with their kids enjoying the evening, and couples mingling here and there along the waterfront.

Just chilling...



As we got to the Great House, I looked over, and the view simply took my breath away. Against the dark of the sky, was the moon. Perfect.



A great way to end the night. Time to get some rest. Tomorrow was our last full day in the country, and God willing, we would go to San Pedro.
