BOOKS
- The Master Key (a book loaned to me by someone I had high respect for as youth)
- The Bible (as I think its the &quot;User Manual&quot; for life)
- The Omen (Not the horror story.. rather a mystery book I read as a youth that is still vivid in the mind.. its about a mutant that was killing as a result that a logging company was using a mercury to preserve the logs in the water. The mercury effects the fetus in the womb, in that it freezes some stages of the gesttation..the result was a mutated animal that was killing people.. there was a fight between the logging comp corp and the natives that had a reservation in the area, and the corp lawyers tried to pin the killings on &quot;drunken indians&quot;.. (The mercury was also affecting the indians who drank the water)..
The interesting thing about the book that once explained, you could see that while fiction, it was probable..

MUSIC
- classics (Mozart, Chopin, Bach)
- Celtic (Enya)
- RnB Blues

not much of a fictional reader. read a few Paulo Cheolo's but The Omen (mentioned above) would be the book i'd read again..
There is a part of it that has one of the characters observing a nightfly one night.. Think its called the may fly.
It starts as an egg at the bottom of the lake, swims (or floats) to the top, spurts wings and flies towards the moon.. It dies, and (I think) sinks back to the bottom of the lake..
All this in one night..
So its lifespan is at best an hour or so.. I read this book as a teen, (decades ago) but still remeber that it made me wonder... to that fly, its living an entire lifetime.. but to us, its a few moments.. What if our lifetime here was being observed by a larger being as as only a few moments, a wink of an eye ... yet to us it seems like decades..

joined I think in 1998 or so.. was banned cause mi use to cuss off some people .. (go figure.. me?? cuss people.. )

rejoined in early 2000s as a sistren turned me onto it as I was looking to move to Canada and was using the net to research the place as I never been there/here before.
Remeber me use to moderate a forum named teck mi back a yard (or something like dat)
